We have booked this hotel for a 3-day stay and the only good thing about it is its location.
It was cheap, 57£ per double room breakfast included, but that's no excuse for its dirtiness, its broken washbasin, the lack of water pressure in the shower... And the breakfast, no comments, horrible.
We are not coming back to this hotel and we do not recommend it.

Room Tip: Do not book a room here, that is our advice.

I came here for my birthday in dec 2012, and was expecting something quite fabulous. I was really let down by the tiny room. (when I say tiny I mean TINY!!) And even tinier shower room. If you enjoy sitting on the loo with your knees touching the wall go for it. Poor décor with a sticky note on the wall with number for reception? Tasteless really? Curtain pole fell down as I was looking out of the window. Backs on to an estate so all you can see from window Is tower block tyoe flats? Really not great, receptionist was highly uninterested and not even a thankyou how was your stay, just snatched the key and went back to his phone which I presume was a friend as it was in his language! If your looking for glamor this is not the place. If you are on business not so bad. (BED WAS REALLY COMFY, although it did take up most of the room and could only get it in from one side as other was against the wall)

I paid almost £150 per night for this hotel staying for two nights. On arrival, the hotel indicated there was a 5% credit card surcharge - so be aware.
It is not all the hotels fault. Supply and demand plays a major part in the pricing model.
The twin room had two beds in a room around 2.5 metre wide so you could just get past the bottom of the bed.
The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Chose the ABC because of value for money & location, backed up by the largely positive reviews here. When I choose a hotel in this price bracket I'm not expecting top notch quality, I do want somewhere clean, comfortable & quiet. I got all three here along with an efficient 24-hr reception & tasty/basic continental breakfast. I'll stay again & happy to recommend to those wanting the basics done well.

Stayed with my 2 teenaged kids and love it! Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was a little small but this is to be expected. Great location. Just walk out of the place, cross the road and you can find food. Paddington Station is nearby. The wax museum and 221B Baker Street is within walking distance. Very convenient. Definitely coming back next time I visit London.

Great location, 2 mins walk from paddington station so easy to get to where ever you want to go.

My room was modern and newly decorated with a reall comfortable bed and good quality pillows. I had a room overlooking the main road at the front of the hotel but it wasn't noisy at all. Rooms come with lots more than I expected; hair dryer, fast free Internet use, nice modern en suite bathroom, sky tv, DVD player, fan, kettle. Basically all the luxuries you might expect in a big chain hotel.

True to say the room was small, but I've never stayed in a hotel in London and seen a big hotel room so I wasn't bothered because it so comfortable and clean.

Breakfast is a continental style buffet with fruit, coffee, waffles and eggs.

The staff at the hotel were really nice. Super efficient and friendly. The two ladies (of Ukrainian origin) who serve breakfast and clean rooms were so polite and very helpful. The reception guys were also really friendly and welcoming.

I use budget type hotels in London all the time for my job and have stayed in some horrendous vile places. But this hotel is by far the best place I've stayed in for what I paid and I'd definitely reccomend it. Will absolutely be back here
