“Good location budget hotel”
Reviewed 29 July 2014

Very good location with metro station and plenty of restaurants nearby. However if you're looking at street market, then it will disappoint you.

NO air-con room is too hot for the hot summer.

Friendly and helpful staff is ready to help. Overall, very good location budget hotel

Room Tip: Room has no air-con..it is quite hot during summer. Friendly staff and have been helpful Breakfast...

I booked a room here last minute and was happy to have a room. The location was perfect-it was less than 5 minutes walking from the Piccadilly line and was easy to get to from the airport. They had a continental breakfast, which was not too bad. The room was quite clean and nice. The beds were quite comfy and the bathroom was spacious (plenty of hot water). My only complaint was that there were no fans in the room, so it got a bit stuffy at night (the windows were still open). Overall, I had a nice stay at this hotel.

We visited for 2 nights while attending a convention at Earls Court with accommodation being a quad room with en-suite shower (Room 12). Very comfortable beds of adequate size, and clean and tidy shower/WC facilities, looked like had been recently refurbished. Piping hot water and good shower, slightly small cubicle though. Room got very stuffy and hot overnight, but we did stay during one of the hottest weekends of the year - a fan would've nice in the absence of air-con (but I didn't expect air-con on a budget anyway). Plenty of space was available, often a concern in smaller, more price-conscious accommodation and was good since we had lots of bulky sci-fi costumes with us! That said, steep staircases were tricky to negotiate, no lift being available (but as a series of converted townhouses, not unexpected).Tea and coffee available was OK, nice big TV, not that we used it much. Noise was minimal, so got a good couple of nights sleep. Breakfast included was rudimentary (tea, coffee, juices, cereals, and toast with preserves), good enough to fill a hole in the morning. Staff were pleasant and accommodating, 24/7 manned reception was impeccable. In summary, you get what pay for - a no-frills budget hotel, but definitely one of the better I've stayed in. Very handy for Earls Court tube and the convention centre, with a few good pubs in the area to tide you over in the evening.

Room Tip: No lifts, so if you've large cases, try and stick to the ground floor. Room 12 a good one for a...

the place was fairly clean. we got an en suite double room. the room was clean and fairly big, although they only give you a daily bath towel.the breakfast was fairly complete, the only thing that i could point out was that they had only white bread that i don't eat. the Staff was not very friendly but at least no rude.

Regular humble London townhouse Hotel. Clean and bright rooms, friendly and polite staff.
Reasonable water pressure in the shower (I've had some pathetic dribbles of showers in London), plenty of hot water though the shower temperature wasn't very constant, I expect being affected by the water usage of other guests.
Didn't try the inclusive breakfast, was so basic it didn't seem worth the bother, but fortunately kettle, tea and coffee provided in the room.
As always, it seems, single glazing in the windows, so a fair bit of traffic noise as it's only about 50 metres from Earls Court Road, but not too bad, and it is London after all. My search for a quaint old hotel like this but with double glazing continues...
Nice enough though, cheap and cheerful, and a very pleasant stay.

The Hotel is conveniently located near the Earl's Court Underground station. It is clean. Breakfast is a basic bowl of cereal, fruit juice, toast and a hot beverage and is served in what i think is the basement, though it is neat.
My sister however was given a room which she described as "the maids closet" due to the tiny size. She also complained her TV wasn't working.
Considering the small cost, i feel got value for my money.
It's an ok place if one is staying for just a few days.

Room Tip: Lower floors less stressful to get to, steep staircases in the hotel

The hotel was smart and comfortable although a liitle cold. The staff were efficient and friendly and the room was clean and fully acceptable.
The banquet was nice but I felt they could have done with a few more servers.
Overall a pleasant stay but although I understand their concerns with energy costs the heating should have been turned on sooner.

Room Tip: From what I heard all rooms were on a par
