The 'club' experience comes from a guest lounge with refreshments and newspapers, and extra services such as unlimited bottled water and tea and coffee for guests. Rooms are well appointed, service is very good, and complimentary wifi is a nice touch. The rooms could do with a little more attention: on this visit the shower outlet was partly blocked and drained only slowly. The TV was old and didn't match the standard of the property.

Spent Two nights in a family room just before Christmas, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff were excellent and very helpful, rooms large, well appointed and clean, beds comfortable and the location is second to none, will definitely stay here on our next trip to London.

Unexpectedly we found ourslves staying at Club Quarters. A surprise as we had booked via an agent to stay in The Grand at Trafalgar Square. No problem though as they inhabit the same building and share a number of facilities (Bar, restaurant etc). A very pleasant and comfortable room on the 8th floor was ours for the night. Not a large room but comfortably furnished and roomy enough. All basic amenties were vailable in the room - microwave, kettle, TV with some pay to view moves (including adult ones) as well as FREE wi-fi access whilst access to a filtered water station, ice machine, extra towels, shampoo, soap, iron and ironing board etc were not too far away. The twin beds were comfortable, but the air conditioning was not cool enough for my personal taste (it was also quite noisly on higher fan settings) However there was an opening window in the room that afforded rooftop views of local historic sites - Admiralty Arch and Westminister Abbey to name but two.

The art work in the shower room and bed room was very interesting and appeared to be limited edition prints. There was also an intersting array of reference / guid books available in the bed side table.

For any one travelling on business or as a tourist in town for a few days, the location of the hotel is excellent in that it is just a few yards from Trafalgar Square. Interestingly given this central location there was little to no audible street noise even on New Years eve.

There was a problem with one of the elevators serving the Club Quarters floors that did cause some congestion at peak times. However little could be done about this due to it being New Years eve / day.

A limited number of smoking rooms are available.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Room Tip: The Club Quarters are on the higher floors (we were on the 8th)

I spent there 3 nights for business reason and I did the best choice definitely! The location is perfect as you can take a walk in the city center without taxi or public transport. You can simply reach Piccadilly circus or the Big Bang just walking. There are a lot of restaurant in the surronding area and I felt safe. Rooms are big and clean, free wi-fi is included. Breakfast is not included but I had a kitchenette good for some tea. Club quarters in Trafalgar will be my first choice when I'll be back in London.

You certainly can't beat the location of this hotel, though it is confusing that it seems to have another name, The Grand. However, it is clean and the staff are helpful and courteous. The breakfast is quite good though a little pricey, but that's London. You are very close to a bridge that goes over the river, and there is also a fantastic little pub across the street, the Sherlock Holmes, which shouldn't be missed! The rooms are clean and nicely refurbished though small and sometimes oddly configured (we had a triangular shower). You can also get a strange view out to a brick wall.

Aside from expensive room service charges, this stable is affordable. Imagine ordering a £3 bottle of water, and then being charged an extra £4.5 for the service to pick it up from the bar!

Anyway's this place does have an excellent location. Its within 5 minutes trot from the Horse Guards, which is perfect considering the prices of most cheap stables in London. However on the down side my stable housing area had an odd smell, meaning I woke up with a head ache. On the other hand the stable experience has been authentic, meaning I've never felt more like a lame horse in my life. Will I visit again? neigh!

Room Tip: The Corinthia is next door. Stay there!
