We stayed here recently for two nights and it was an excellent experience, the room was great, clean and modern fixtures plus a good size room for London and the location was just a few steps to Trafalgar Square (we had a small view from our room) plus a few minutes to two tube stations. The staff were very friendly and quick, I wanted an extra pillow (the only downside as just two in the room!!) and they brought a couple up within minutes - I also liked the free water stations and the guest lockers with extra tea/coffee etc inside both on each floor, a nice touch I thought.
We would definitely recommend and will use again in the future especially as the price was reasonable too. A nice clean hotel with modern features in a good location at a reasonable price, we could not ask for more

Superb location, only 5 minutes to Trafalgar Square. This is a fine hotel. We have used the restaurant before, which is high-class but over-priced. I should also say that it is well-stocked with great whisky. The hotel has great sized rooms. The check-in process is simple; you can dodge the tourists by checking in on the computer in the foyer. This is our second visit; both times we have been impressed with the rooms. We will use it again.

The location is excellent, only 20-30 metre walk to the literal centre of London (the King Charles sculpture), bordered by Whitehall, Strand, The Mall, Trafalgar Square etc. Getting around was easy and v.short walk to Embankment, Piccadilly, Liecester Sq etc. I understand the location is really where the money goes but I would have found a premier inn to be more pleasant. For starters there was a sewerage type stench that permeated through the hotel corridors and lifts. The decor was dank and depressing and reception area negligible. The room was way smaller than advertised and room service no existent save for having to call local restaurants who deliver the food, not the hotel itself. I did however find the views over Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery fantastic and very much appreciated the chilled purified water and ice with empty bottles to take to the room. I doubt I will return, I would rather pay a lot less for premier inn or a lot more for a proper five star. This is a four star at a major stretch. Having said all this the main bed was comfy, I liked the kitchenette and staff were nice.

Room Tip: Go for a room with a view and take your own snacks, drinks, cereal etc if you have a room with a kitchenette.

Stayed here for one night in August 2014. Thursday night. Reception was very swift and great service, entrance to the hotel is very nice indeed with the main bar / restaurant area directly in front of you as you walk in... Menu looked very nice and decor was excellent. Hotel is linked to Bianco PIzzeria, which offers you 20% off the food bill if staying at the hotel. Food here was good and although service a little slow to begin with was good overall.....

Room was very nice and very comfortable with toiletries, complimentary coffee tea and kitchenette area with fridge, separate business desk with multiple USB ports and connections. Free Wifi throughout was very good as well.

The access to the Club Lounge was very good with some snacks available free of charge along with tea, ground coffee, water etc....

Breakfast option included in the hotel stay would be a nice option to include but it is offered in Boyds Brasserie on site and Garfunkels restaurant serves a good breakfast not even 100 meters away from the hotel entrance. Numerous restaurant options around with Prezzo also across the road...

Overall a nice hotel to stay in a very good location with a very short walk t o the closest tube station... Definitely would stay here again in the future.

Location, location, location - exit the hotel and see Trafalgar Square, Thames and just around the corner the mall to Buckingham Palace. We love running and this location is loaded with great options - St. James Park, Green Park, River, Scotland Yard. Also a number of good restaurants, pubs and coffee/cafes in the area. Helpful staff. Only drawback was and our room was small & looked into the wall of adjacent building.
