I,ve wanted to do a Jack the Ripper walk for years being born in the East of parents born in Stepney and Bethnel Green and working in the east end and even in Hanbury st where one of jacks victims was found And my grandad had a house across the road to where one of the victims was found too so he was actually there at the time Iv,e had a fascination with him for years and with the mystery of how he was never found and who he was . Jenny didn't,t disappoint she knows everything about jack and the victims and the pubs they drunk in jenny has loads of pictures of how the area was at the time that she takes time to hand around which gives you more of an idea of how the area was as a huge amount unfortunately doesn't exist now . Jenny also has an edge on the other tour guides as she dresses in Victorian clothes which adds an authentic touch book with Jenny your have a great time I enjoyed it very much it was worth the years I,d waited .lizzy

We did the tour last night and coudn't recommend it more, was a really good night in London, even for a cold January night. Jenny was amazing, remembering all the information off the top of her head, even long letters, word for word. This woman knows her facts, as has been a tour guide for 25 years. Fantastic experience.

Jenny is a fabulous guide who really knows everything about the Ripper murders. Wandering the alleys of Whitechapel in her company takes you back in time to Victorian London. Her empathy for the victims and their bleak lives is clear throughout and helps to bring the story to life.
We were also accompanied on our tour by a shadowy “Jack” who occasionally chipped in with some dark humour to lighten the mood. Thoroughly recommended.

Jenny our guide was great, definitely knows all there is to know about Jack! It is very interesting but long so wear comfy clothes and shoes. Take £5 for a tip, it’s at your discretion but if you get the deal on Groupon like we did £10 for both of us then a £5 tip isn’t going to hurt and Jenny deserves it, if only for being the only other guide we noticed who makes an effort to get dress up. Even on our night like ours when it was freezing and raining!
