This hotel seems to get a lot of bad reviews and before we went we were terribly worried.
I emailed the hotel before our arrival to request either to store our luggage or check in early as our train was arriving before mid-day, to which we received a swift reply stating that would not be a problem at all. Upon our early arrival we were greated warmly by the lafy at reception who told us although our room wasn't quite ready we would be able check in and put our bags in and quickly freshen up before heading out again the room was modern and perfectly sufficient for what we needed it for (a place to relax, sleep and re-energise before heading out again). Although small the rooms where clean and there was plenty of room for the two of us (both being larger than average) to move around and get ready to go out and about just fine. Our room was in the basement but was on a private garden area so noise was kept to a minimum.
The only negatives in our opinion would be that our neighbours upstairs where slightly noisey but after the long, busy days we had that didn't disrupt our sleep at all!
The only other negative we can think of is that it is a bit of a walk from shepherds bush station (closer to shepherds bush market station) but if you find you are getting a daily travelcard from the underground or rail stations you can use those on the bus. They where about £8.25 but that gave us unlimited bus, underground and overground train access all day in zones 1/2 (bargain if u ask me)!
Overall for the price you pay and what you need it for the hotel is absolutely fine (if you want savoy quality then you need to go and pay savoy prices!)

Really easy to book on booking.com.
Very friendly chap on reception. Originally a Geordie but knows all routes for travel and the best deals. Could drop off and leave bags either day. Easy to get to. Great breakfast cafe Mar Mar down the road.
Small ish but all you need. One towel and a bar of soap each plus tea and coffee and orange juice. In shower hot water came out of cold but worked perfectly well once you got that.
Clean, neat and tidy. Ideal for sight seeing even though about half hour from centre sights. Get off at Shepherds Bush market and get bus down with an all day travel card.
Would definitely book again.

First of all, The chap at the front desk was well mannered and ok, But this isn't about that. We had a one night stay as there was an event at the apollo. With the parking on top of the room it came to just short of £90. Our room was NOTHING like the pictures, It was horrendous. Hairs in the bed and shower, Stains of what i can only desribe as human fluid on the curtains and a bathroom you couldn't turn around in, The cups left next to the kettle looked to have been wiped out with the same cloth as had 'gone over' the bathroom. But that wasn;t even the worst part. Asda smart price orange? In a room that cost £90? Give me a break! Would not use again. The curtains didn't fully close so privacy was an issue and the loo roll was like wiping my rear end on a cactus. Overall not impressed :(

Found this hotel to be a perfectly acceptable standard for the price. Nearly a mile down uxbridge road from shepherds bush station- actually its closer to shepherds bush market station, but it was a nice sunny weekend and we travelled light so we didn't mind the walk. Would be easy to get a bus. Clean room, comfy bed, friendly staff- much nicer than a travel lodge anyway!

Yes it's a budget hotel but the service was outstanding. Manager let us park there even after we'd checked out.

Room was clean, bed comfy.

There are plenty of eateries nearby and some nice pubs.

The nearest tube station is about 15 walk away. And if that's too far...get a bus! They are very regular.

We were going to the Shepherds Bush Empire and this hotel is within walking distance. We come to London a lot and this is ideal purely for the parking. It's £15 to park for the day and well worth it.

Happy to recommend and would stop there again.
