“Good Reliable Food”
Reviewed 30 March 2014

We were here twice during our stay in the area. Food was really good that we had to come back for more. My husband & I both ordered pasta dishes and they were both spot on. Food servings were also plenty especially for the price. I tried their house red wine and I really liked it. It blended well with my pasta dish. On our 2nd visit, my husband tried the chicken curry sandwich and it was delicious. Overall, I will definitely recommend this place. Although, customer service was really flat.

“Authentic retro Italian cafe handy for Paddington Station”
Reviewed 29 March 2014

Plenty of cafes and restaurants around the station; this is a good one. Eclectic mix of clients, including Japanese tourists, Welshmen waiting for a train, and half the local police. Good reasonably priced lunch (beware; vegetables /potatoes extra to pasta dishes). Friendly service from busy waitresses, the men seemingly not doing very much, in authentic Mediterranean fashion.

“Excellent food on a budget. Quick and friendly service and an interesting clientele.”
Reviewed 21 March 2014

I have been coming here on occasion for some years. It is the only cafe that I know within a short distance of Paddington Station that serves great food at a great price. There are plenty of Italian dishes on the menu but there is also a wide choice of other foods including vegetarian options. You can have a full English Breakfast, scrambled eggs on toast, an omlette, a sandwich or salad and lots of specials if you like a steak or chicken or salmon.... The main dishes can come with fresh salad as opposed to chips if you want to be healthy or indeed freshly cooked vegetables. Today my father had a mushroom omlette with salad and I enjoyed a chicken escalope / mozarella ciabatta sandwich. The coffee and tea are good and the sweets look good as well although we did not have one.The prices here are very competitive even for outer London never mind around Paddington. There are so many bad places in this area so you cannot go far wrong eating here. The staff are friendly and efficient and it is a good place to come and people watch as you get everyone in here. There is limited outdoor seating if you wish to watch the world go by.

Want toast, sausages, eggs, bacon and a beverage? This is the place to go. We have visited this place many times and we always enjoy it.
There can be crowded but it’s worth the time and coin 
