A memorable experience for all the right reasons on our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Although slightly further away than we first thought from theatre land and 'the London shops' this made for a good nights sleep on a comfy bed in a superb bedroom thanks to us having been upgraded on arrival. A warm welcome on arrival and every member of staff made an extra effort to make our stay enjoyable. We were happy enough with continental breakfast but a 'cooked to order' english looked good and the menu clearly included everything any traveller could possibly want. When a problem did arise following departure the staff dealt with it promptly and efficiently by posting items left in the safe in our room to me by recorded delivery.
We gave a score of 10 out of 10 on departure but in light of the help received subsequently and also the desire for feedback in an attempt to further improve their performance we should perhaps have made it 11 out of 10 or even more.
Would certainly recommend a stay here and will no doubt be back at some stage in the future but will need to work out bus routes as opposed to using taxis all the time given the relative costs of each!

Room Tip: Room 409 was excellent all around with a sitting area as well as a bedroom area and TVs in each area...

We had originally booked to stay at The Apex City, but when we arrived they were overbooked. They organised a taxi and took us to London Wall.
We were given a delux room and complementary breakfast.
The room we had is in the picture above. It had a balcony, was spotless and had extra toiletries.

The hotel is oly four minutes walk to Moorgate, so really easy for getting around.

I have now stayed in 3 different Apex hotels and really believe them to be best chain out there.
Although I still prefer the city of London I will defiantly stay here again!

This is a great hotel in a good location. From Heathrow you take the Piccadilly line (blue) to Holburn and then change onto the Central line (red) and get off at either Bank or Liverpool street station. Liverpool Street station also does trains to Stansted.

Located in the Financial district this means that the area is quiet during the weekend which is perfect as there was no noise from the street to disrupt your sleep. Our room was on the first floor and we couldn’t hear anything. The room did look out onto an office block, this didn’t matter as there was no-one there during the weekend. Not sure whether this would be an issue for some during the week. There are net and full curtains though.

Didn’t encounter much staff throughout our 2 night stay but those we did were friendly, pleasant and efficient. The hotel itself is a boutique hotel and would be reminisce of the W hotel chain in the US which I like.

We had the standard King room and it was very roomy. The bed & pillows were very comfortable but there didn’t seem to be enough duvet, it seemed to be the size of the mattress without having any hangover. This was OK as the room was warm enough and we didn’t need the duvet for heat. The decor in the room was very modern with greens, blues and browns and the throw, cushions and curtains all matched. I loved the Chaise Long at the end of the bed as it meant that when you want to relax and watch tv you had something other then the bed to sit on. We didn’t use the other extras in the room such as the free local calls or the Mp3 docking station, but they were there if we need to. There is a gym available but we never got the time to see it.

The bathroom was lovely, bright with a large mirror. The bath was a good size and had the taps in the middle. The shower was a lovely big separate shower with a rain shower head which was great. Hairdryer is provided along with mini body lotion, shampoo, shower gel bottles.

We didn’t have any meals at the hotel so we can’t comment on the food. As you are in the financial district which shuts down a bit at the weekend there is a limited amount open for to grab breakfast so it might be just as easy to eat in the hotel. For dinner there is a Pizza Express close by and pubs as you make your way towards Liverpool Street and London Wall. There is a Tesco Metro a couple of minutes from Liverpool street station.

All in all I would recommend this hotel and would definitely return

My friends were trying to convince me to stay at the Andaz but I just couldn't cough up the extra money so i did some research and found this hotel which is only about 3 blocks away from the Liverpool street station. The property is modern and clean - the rooms were good sized and there was free wifi. I love the simplistic decor and was extermely comfortable in the hotel. Also, when we arrived Friday night the bar was packed with locals which is a good sign!

Located on a quiet little street in the midst of finance, Apex London Wall offers a quiet but hip atmosphere with all the bells and whistles you might need for a short business trip.

This is an outstanding value for both the location and the quality of accommodations.
