I stayed here for 3 nights when I was in London on business. It is centrally located and close to 3 tube stations. There is a good choice of eateries around this place. The room was clean, spacious and well furnished. Had wifi as well. Check in was a breeze. Breakfast was good value for money and generous portions. Staff at the front office and the restaurant were very professional and the service was great!!

We stayed two nights at the Apex Wall London, Friday 25th November and Saturday 26th November 2011. Location is 5-10 minute easy walk from Liverpool Street Station (breakfast in Liverpool Street at Ponti's is SUPERB ... more later on this) The hotel staff were very efficient, courteous, polite and helpful. Check-in was easy, our room was on the 5th floor (Room 505) and despite the hotel being FULL for the weekend we encountered no noise, delays or crowding of any kind. The room was very spacious with a super-king bed (extremely comfortable bed and pillows), large wide-screen TV, BOSE sound dock (perfection), tea & coffee making facilities, mini-bar (chargeable), iron and ironing board, lovely toiletries and bathroom and VERY clean and well presented overall. We used the hotel as a base for central London (theatres, shopping, site-seeing) and a trip to Wembley (Spanish Riding School of Vienna). Please note that although Liverpool Street station is convenient to the hotel, weekends are the only time maintenance is practical so some tube lines were out of operation (Metropolitan) so extra stops and changes were needed to get to and from destinations ... not a problem if you aren't in a rush and can read a simple tube map!!) Our room rate excluded breakfast so we ate at Ponti's in Liverpool Street Station - there is NO need to search for anywhere else to have breakfast, the food is fabulous. Porridge, full English, croissant, pastries, REAL orange juice freshly squeezed in front of you, teas, coffees, simply perfect and very inexpensive. As the Apex Wall is in the business area of London please note that most of the cafes, shops and restaurants around Liverpool Street are shut on the weekend. Overall, we rate the Apex London Wall Hotel 5 out of 5. Well done to SIMON DAVIS, General Manager and his staff ... we will most certainly be staying here again.

A memorable experience for all the right reasons on our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Although slightly further away than we first thought from theatre land and 'the London shops' this made for a good nights sleep on a comfy bed in a superb bedroom thanks to us having been upgraded on arrival. A warm welcome on arrival and every member of staff made an extra effort to make our stay enjoyable. We were happy enough with continental breakfast but a 'cooked to order' english looked good and the menu clearly included everything any traveller could possibly want. When a problem did arise following departure the staff dealt with it promptly and efficiently by posting items left in the safe in our room to me by recorded delivery.
We gave a score of 10 out of 10 on departure but in light of the help received subsequently and also the desire for feedback in an attempt to further improve their performance we should perhaps have made it 11 out of 10 or even more.
Would certainly recommend a stay here and will no doubt be back at some stage in the future but will need to work out bus routes as opposed to using taxis all the time given the relative costs of each!

Room Tip: Room 409 was excellent all around with a sitting area as well as a bedroom area and TVs in each area...
