“Brilliant Trip - full of laughs, enjoyment & thrills!”

I booked to go on London Rib Voyages with my partner looking for an exciting way to see the thames and was not disappointed. The trip met all of my expectations and was the highlight of our day trip into London. I would certainly reccommend it to any visitors of London or Londoners as it was far more that a sight seeing trip.

I always have a lovely time with them whenever I go onboard. London just doesn't look the same from the Thames!

“Wow what an 11th Birthday still talking about it!”

Great organisation, value and staff. Must see locations along the route with plenty of entertaining historical commentary. We booked the whole boat and filled it with very excited boys and a small sister. An "awesome" day had by all. The shorter trip was plenty exciting enough can't wait to go back and do the Thames Barrier version.
Just 10 mins with an ice cream stop on the way from Waterloo Station and definitely the best part of London.

“London Rib Voyage in Winter”
Reviewed 22 February 2012

We enjoyed our London Rib Trip very much. Arriving by an easy public bus ride straight from our Marble Arch location, we landed at the London Eye/ Sealife Aquarium location with about an hour to spare. This is also within view of Parliament and Big Ben. You can stroll along the Thames and enjoy the view, the little amusement rides, and the yummy food vendors. Look for the strawberry waffle stands or grab a latte. Yum. There are also typical souvenir shops. Our boys were thrilled to find a Namco Video Arcade at this location as well. We stopped in and let them kill some time while we warmed up, used the facilities, and had hot chocolate. One word of caution, watch for pick-pocketing, as in any major tourist spot. This is a favored location, and security works hard to keep it sage. Don't hang bags over chairs or set your cell phone down, even for a minute. We were cautious and had no issues.

We booked our RIb tickets online, so we avoided any wait. Walked right up to the boat queue. Our guides and helpers were fun, friendly and knowledgeable about the history of London.. We took the cruise that goes all the way down to the Thames barriers.

This was a fun and informative speedboat cruise, suitable for almost anyone. They are equipped with all-weather gear and will suit you up upon arrival. Since we booked for February, we were fairly prepared for the cold weather. It was approximately 42 degrees F on the day of our cruise. We were fortunate that the sun was shining and it was a beautiful day on the Thames. We had on long underwear, gloves, hats, coats, socks, etc. We also donned the all-weather gear that the staff provided. Although we looked like marshmallows, we wanted to be warm. We knew it would be cold on the water, but we did not realize just how cold it would be when the boat got up to full speed. While we totally enjoyed the trip. it was truly, utterly freezing for the last 20 minutes, which impacted our ability to enjoy the view. But again, this was to be expected, I just thought we would have been a bit warmer with double sets of all weather gear on over our winter coats and clothes. Not to worry, for as soon as the boat slowed up, we warmed right up. The other great feature of this tour is that you take in a lot of sights and info in a short amount of time.

I would definitely take this tour again, but maybe only in the warmer months if my travel schedule permitted. .Older, fragile or very young kids probably need to wait until it is warmer, or take an enclosed river cruise tour. I am glad we did it, and would highly recommend this tour.
