We booked this hotel for convenience of location for plans we had & I must admit I was a little nervous after reading reviews. At first we was checked-in in a room across the road from reception of hotel which we thought was really strange. We received the following message from booking.com
Please note that there is no reception at the hotel. Guests must check in at the sister property located at 27 Devonshire Terrace.
We was in number 3 Devonshire Terrace which was nice & clean but very small in fact we got squashed between outside room door & inside door & although I asked for a quiet room I didnt expect a brick wall view out of the window almost like a basement. I phoned reception to ask for any possibility of a room change & was shown an alternative in same block straight away slighty better view but again tiny & then asked for a larger room & I would pay extra we was shown a room in the new sister hotel around the corner on Clarence Street a club room this was great large clean & new & we wasnt charged any extra.
I have to say the staff are brilliant & so obliging I would definately stay again thank youMore
