Been recommended to us for food but sadly was not very exciting. Very limited menu (probably due to the fact we want a pre theatre dinner) but eclectic mix of diners - some eating breakfast, some having afternoon tea, and some early evening diners. My dover sole was fantastic but sadly my partner's fish and chips was over cooked with soggy batter - they probably could do a lot better. Complaints were not recognised and the waitress who served us had left before us without saying goodbye!! Not the best experience.

Went for an authentic experience and I think the only thing authentic about it was the pricing. Would have expected a more extensive menu. Not sure I'd go back.

I had a great Sunday lunch here a few weeks ago; you have the choice of two courses for £25 or 3 courses for £29. I chose 2 dishes and had a massive roast chicken with veggies..so big I couldn't face dessert (I had a small bite of blueberry pie which was delish) my friend chose beef, with the largest Yorkshire puds I've seen!

They kindly bought extra sausages and replaced an extra crispy Yorkshire pud without fuss. You aren't rushed, so can enjoy a great catch up without being hassled, which is nice and the staff were great.

All in all, a very nice lunch - will be back!
