Three blocks from the Wimbledon Rail station, giving easy access to both London Underground and British Rail. It is close to a supermarket, shopping, and pubs – all between the hotel and station. The front and side of the hotel provide spaces for parking. Service in breakfast room was quick and efficient. The breakfast was not outstanding, but of reasonable quality and quantity. Our room (on the top floor) was very clean and large. The bathroom was small but very clean. The tub (no shower) was located under the eaves, so even a 155 cm tall person had to stoop to rinse off. Room amenities were Spartan – scant soap/shampoo, no wash cloths, small duvets, burned out lamps, no daily re-fills on tea service. The manager was very helpful with tips on driving to Heathrow and storing our bags. Caution – the website directions are not very detailed, glad we had our own AA map

I've traveled for the past several years to London, and 18 of those have been spent staying at the Justin James Hotel. I recently returned there a couple of weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed my visit as usual. I stayed in my "regular" room and once again found it to be neat, clean and well-appointed. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful as always, and you cannot beat the location, which is 400 yards or so from the main shopping area as well as tube and above-ground rail connections. I've never been disappointed with the Justin James and I hope to return there again in 2012 (after the Olympics, though!)

Room Tip: Rooms at the back of the hotel are quieter,

Lovely little hotel walking distance from Wimbledon Tube station and all the amenities nearby. I just had to pop out to get a sandwich or to catch the tube. It was ideal.
There's a very friendly gentleman at reception and the breakfast was lovely. English breakfast, of course!
The rooms, while tiny are fully equipped. There's a kettle to make tea, a hair dryer, the television, and even a fan which you sometimes need, even in London in July.

This is a charming B and B located just off the main street in Wimbledon. Close to Tube ( two stops to tennis) and overground trains to London. My husband and I had two rooms, one for us and one for our teenage daughters. Both rooms were clean and comfortable. Our daughters' room had been updated recently, and the plan is for all rooms to be renovated, but ours was still perfectly well-appointed. The full English breafast is served in a sunny room on Port Meirion placemats. The unexpected amentiy for weary travelers is a spa where massage services are offered in a lavender scented room. Absolutley delightful! Treat yourself to this hotel if you are in the neighborhood.

Room Tip: Ask for a recently renovated room.

This hotel is in a great location for travel and shops, but, the accomodation is not up to standard. I booked through laterooms and paid extra for a en-suite single. The exterior of the hotel and the hallway looked quite elegant but sadly the room was a marked contrast. The carpet was probably a good axminster in the 50's but now makes the room feel dirty. The curtains have been laundered too many times and were like rags. The fussy wallpaper may have been a B&Q favorite 5 years ago. The room was not big and could easily be refurbished for the price of a couple of nights rental. They are taking advantage!! The pine bed squeaked throughout the night so I did not even get a good nights sleep. I would not describe this as a hotel. There was no lounge or anywhere else to go except the shabby room. At really is more like a guest house. The breakfast did improve matters slightly and was freshly cooked, but the cereals were served from cheap tupperware boxes and I could not see any fruit or yoghurts. Overall I felt this hotel charges too much for what it provides.
