My partner and i stayed here for one night. We arrived at 10.30am to ask if we could leave our bags there while we did some sight seeing. Amazingly our room was ready, it was a lovely room and we could just about see big ben. Tea/coffee and a fridge for a bottle of water or wine if you so wish to cool. Big bathroom, big soft bed and wonderful pillows. The curtains are almost black out so you dont see the light in the morning which means a nice lie in. All staff were very polite especially check in/out. Next time, and there will be a next time we will stay longer and try the Spa. The bar prices are normal for a hotel but there is also Bar One around the corner for a more extensive list of wines. Highly recommend a drink at Paramount which is located in Centre Point, (Google it).

Just joined TA and wanted to leave a few reviews for hotels which I think are good choices for travelers. The Park Plaza Westminster Bridge offers an excellent central location to the main sightseeing area in London. The rooms are new and everything was spotless. The only downside I can mention is that the hotel is large and with so many guests, does not have the personal touch of the smaller independent hotels. But I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is in a great location and the public areas are very stylish. Staff are all very nice but a few mistakes were made: pre-authorisation not taken on my card, despite my saying I'd be charging to room; room service order then wrong but quickly corrected, with a free orange juice thrown in, which was nice.
Best parts of the room were the bathroom, which has a great shower and huge bath, and the massive plasma tv in the bedroom. Problem was that, in typical businessMAN's hotel style, there was a smorgasbord of blue movies and sports channels but very few entertainment channels. No worries, my trusty iPad will allow me to watch SkyGo, thinks I, as there is free wi-fi. Allegedly. It flickered to one bar and then died completely every few minutes, making watching anything online impossible.
The other strange feature was the rather creepy, 8 foot pseudo-artistic photo of a pouting female on the wardrobe. Maybe businessmen like that but it disturbed my sleep, almost as much as the rowing couple through the paper-thin walls. Though I guess I should be glad they weren't getting on....!
A big tick to the Plaza for providing an ironing board and iron - there is a growing tendency in London hotels to assume their guests are either kleptomaniacs or arsonists so you usually have to beg for an iron. They clearly expect us all to be alcoholics though, as you have to leave your credit card at reception in order to access the otherwise locked mini-bar.
This is probably a fine hotel if you're on holiday but, for business, the wi-fi is a must and I found the internal room oppressive, as opening a window onto actual oxygen can be pleasant. As I said, very lovely staff though and perfect for walking to all the main sites.

Thanks Looch798 for your review.

You’d be pleased to know we will soon be adding a number of boosters to the building, this will help our wi-fi coverage.

Sorry you were unable to find the entertainment channels, we have a number of them including BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channel 4, Five, Fiver to name a few, we now have the minimum TV channels in the UK following the digital changeover, as well as other family entertainment channels.

Sorry about the mistakes, but I’m glad to note they were rectified quickly.

Excellent Hotel in a great loaction in London, walk to London eye, Big ben, House of parliment and Westminter Abbey. Moderm luxurious accomodations, and great pubs near by. Easy access to the underground and River Thames cruises. Has also a nice French restaurant on site and a chic bar. Get the package with buffet breakfast. We did not have time to use the pool / gym or Spa. Free wireless internet and very friendly staff. Will be back on our next stay at London

Room Tip: Studio room, great for families

My husband and I stayed here on 24th March after the hotel staff had been amazing helping us reschedule our original date in January after our daughter was hospitalised (this was despite the booking being made through a third party agent). We arrived 4 hours early knowing we would not be able to book in, however the concierge immediate relieved us of our case and marked on a map where to walk to get to the Tate Britain making sure we knew where we were going and advising our bags would be bought straight up to the room on check in. The hotel has a stunning lobby, and although there was a short wait when we returned to check in it wasn't unbacceptable, and we were upgraded to a studio suite with a huge window. Everything had been thought of right down to a rubber duck in the luxurious bathroom, we had a living area with sofa plus tv a small kitchenette area between, and a sleeping area with a very comfortable bed and another large flat screen tv. The hotel coffee shop in the lobby does a good and reasonably priced breakfast muffin or croissant with great coffee. We will definitely do our best to stop here again when we visit the capital. Great staff, great location and contempory decor right in the heart of London.

I spent 3 nights at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge (Superior Twin). The room was nice designed, bathroom was big enough, with a big TV, comfortable beds and some more features. BUT at this room type, you'll never say daylight because it's directed to the inner courtyard! You CAN'T open the window either for some fresh air.
The hotel staff was very poor (except the concierges and bar staff), the fire alarm went ahead around 4 times at the first 30 mins at our room and there was no further action beside the staff!!! one day the hole hotel had to be evacuate (in the morning hours, 8.00 a.m.) because of false alarm.
In general a quite properly hotel, but me I think it's absolutely overrated.

Dear YHaldner,

Thank you for your review, although it is disappointing we let you down following a number of positive reviews we have recently received.

I have shared your review with our team which will enable us to ensure all our guests and visitor receive excellent customer service.

Without knowing the dates of your stay I am unable to comment freely on the fire alarm activation, however I am sure you will agree when I say that the safety of our guests and visitors is our paramount concern therefore upon the sound of the alarm we evacuate the building.

Once again, thank you and I do hope we have the opportunity to serve in the near future.

Fantastic service at this central London hotel. We were allocated a room on the 10th floor which was nice, good views, clean and comfortable. However, despite the free wifi, I could not quite get a connection in the room, as it seemed we were just out of reach of the nearest access point. A quick call to guest services resulted in a room change, an upgrade, and even an attempt to gather a small bag of toys together for my young son after I jokingly commented on the phone to guest services that we were a bit short on toys on this trip. Really impressed, the staff here really fall over themselves to please.

Regarding the hotel amenities, it's all good- well placed, not stupidly expensive, great rooms and good food. Swimming pool and spa is good, although the pool could be bigger (but what do you expect for a central London hotel). Overall top notch, highly recommended.
