Almost every spot of intrerest lies within a 5-10 min walk to begin with.
An excellent sushi restaurant in the hotel in case you don't feel like dining out.
A cosmopolitan and yet children friendly atmnosphere - the latter being rare in London I must admit.
Unbelievably noiseless room given the central location; and spacy too.

But the cherry on the top was the effectiveness and friendliness of the staff. A big bravo and thanks as well to the room service as to the breakfast staff.

Stayed here for three nights on the way back after a series of B&Bs in Scotland. We were at the sister property across the street last year. This is definitely a bigger property with the accompanying hustle and bustle. There seems to be large tour groups staying here.

We had a studio room with the sofa bed in the living room area. Similar to what we had in the Park Plaza County Hall last year. The size makes it very comfortable for the three of us (can easily fit four persons) and with two TVs, we are free to watch separate channels if so desired. Wifi needs registration and is free (if you pick the 24-hour option).

The size also allows the hotel to provide more amenities like a gym and a pool in top of having more restaurants. However, given the sheer volume of guests, service seems perfunctory. Case in point, we step up to the concierge desk and waited 20-25 seconds before the staff even looked up to acknowledge us. I understand he's finishing his task but most service industry frontline staff will at least look up and tell guests that they will attend to us shortly. And on saying "good morning" to another on way to the lift after a jog (fantastic run along the river!), I didn't even get a smile, let alone a greeting.

However, don't get me wrong, the hardware is good, location is convenient, transportation choices plentiful to get around. Just don't expect more than the most superficial of service from the staff. Bathroom has both a shower area and a bathtub although toiletries are a tad lacking, just soap, shampoo/conditioner, body lotion and shower cap. No toothbrush or anything else although I'm sure if you ask, Housekeeping will be able to provide. Overall, I will still recommend the hotel for its location and accessibility.

Dear C_James06,

Thank you for your review and I am pleased you enjoyed our great location.

I am disappointed to read your comments regarding our team especially our Concierge team. We pride ourselves on delivering and creating a great atmosphere for our guest and I am very sad to read that this was not your experience, this is highly unusual. I have shared your comments with the team and they too are saddened this is the impression you have of us.

Regarding bathroom amenities, as you’ve noted a quick call to Guest Services team they would be more than happy to provide additional amenities that we supply and send them to your room.

We of course would love the opportunity to redeem ourselves and I hope we can do so in the near future.

Regards,
Hasham Soliman

We normally stay in the Kensington area when visiting London, decided on a change, so glad we chose to stay at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge .
The hotel it self was excellent we upgraded to a room with a fabulous view of Big Ben and the bridge, sensational in the evening with the light reflections.
Our room was spacious, bed very comfortable excellent bathroom & breakfast.
Our upgrade included morning & afternoon tea in sun drenched dining atrium.
I will certainly stay at the Park Plaza again when visiting London, we walked to many of the main attractions most within 10 minutes walking distance.

Room Tip: I chose a room on higher floors as I wanted view of Big Ben it was worth the extra money

You cannot go wrong with this hotel....I've stayed at this hotel twice, it's a quick walk to Big Ben, the London eye and the tube....the staff is friendly and very accommodating. While the cost is a little higher than other hotels, it's well worth it!!

My 14 year old son chose this hotel from many available on the website. It was his first visit to London and it was a great choice. Excellent hotel , very comfortable. Fabulous Location for Central London. Great check in and the whole experience was very pleasurable. worth paying the upgrade for a room with a view. We had one of Big Ben , it was wonderful

We stayed weekend a break. It was pleasure to stay there. Very close from public transport and close to London eye & Big Ben.
We certainly recommend to everyone. We enjoyed walking by the river and in the area. We would love to visit again soon.

My family and I stayed at the Park Plaza Westminster in mid-July. We got a 1 bedroom iconic view suite. The view was absolutely incredible and worth the extra money. The room was a little smaller than I expected but I think that's par for any big city hotel.

The hotel is within walking distance of two underground stations and within walking distance to many of the sites we visited.

The breakfast was excellent and the staff extremely helpful.

I would most definitely stay here again!!
