Location:
Located between Hammersmith Station and Shepherd’s Bush Station and the bus station, commute is easy. Lots of restaurants across the road.
Check in:
It is possible to check in late like us. I opted not to check in online so we did not get a door code sent by email after the process. We had to go to 109 Hammersmith Grove for help with check in. Phone numbers provided don’t get answered most times we called so the best option is go over to 109.
The room:
Room 12 was stuffy and hot throughout our stay. The cute fan didn’t help.
Studio was optimal for 2 people with little luggage. Our room was overlooking the herb garden so a bit of privacy even with shades up. Bathroom is small. Wash basin doesn’t drain well and was not fixed to even when alerted. Shower stall comfortable size. Weak water pressure. Insufficient shelving.
Appliances:
Nice chill radio music. Cookware almost brand new, but we didn’t use it (room is too small). 2 Charging stations located at desk only. TV has lots of channels. Beds are soft and pillows fluffy, bed rather high but we stowed our luggage under them for added space. Laundry room on lev 4 , free but get your detergent ). Unless you like to do laundry everyday, avoid lev 4 rooms because the machines are noisy.
Down side:
Room door couldn’t open on 2nd day because lock batteries were flat. Our calls to 109 were unanswered. Catalina, the cleaning lady, helped us changed the batteries.
Will I return? Not likely. Staff was unfriendly, calls were never answered and needed a walk to the office across the street. Wash basin issue was never resolved, room was always hot even on a cool day (please change the halogen lightsto LED). I would go for a place with a concierge on site 24 hours where I can get help at all times.
