I've been twice to this hotel. A great sense of well-being runs through the building from the staff to the high quality of furnishings provided in a modern and contemporary décor. To use an 'air-industry' phrase very much 'business class'. Even the bathroom has plenty of accessories to ensure your stay is a good one. Continental and English breakfast is good, you are spoilt for choice however things do take a bit of finding if its your first time and the staff seem to be fixed to their positions and can't take you to the relevant food location.
1. Negatives are the traffic-noise depending upon which side of the hotel your room is. If your not from a city beware it is noticeably louder and it goes on later into the night.
2. On both occasions I could not get the Nespresso coffee maker to work. (They'll have to get George Clooney to show them how it is done.)

My partner and I had a great stay at the H10 Waterloo this weekend. Glass of bubbly on arrival always sets a good tone for the stay, and we found our room on the 12th floor just right.

I'd upgraded us as a treat, and was pleased I had. Top floor room, very clean and modern. Sadly iPhone dock was built for the previous model of phones so ours didn't work, but the numerous TV channels provided enough music for our pre-night out drinks.

Staff were friendly and helpful, and the little treat waiting for us in the room when we returned from our afternoon activities was a lovely surprise!

We didn't manage to surface in time for breakfast, and sadly found our coffee machine not working, but complimentary coffee brought to our room and a swift machine switch rectified that pretty quickly.

All in all, an excellent option for a London mini-break; closely located to Waterloo providing connections across the city, with some nice restaurants and cafes nearby. The little touches set this hotel apart from many similarly priced competitors in the city. Didn't have any problems with noise like some other reviewers on here.

Room Tip: Deluxe room for £30 upgrade fee was worth it. Requested (and got) top floor (1212). Other options include London Eye view - we could only just see it from our room but you can request a better view of it if you like!

Friendly staff. Immaculate and well presented rooms with everything you need to make it an excellent stay. Good location and within walking distance to Lambeth North tube station/Southbank. Glass of Cava upon arrival which was a nice touch. Would recommend.

Very pleased to once again have to return to this hotel ,it was 5 tjme there. I am already a member of the H10 CLUB, the last 2 times this year I am very grateful for the wonderful rooms, with great views to London. This time I got a corner room on the ten floor with a superb panorama.I was very surprised by the ateention of Managment of the hotel.Thank you for the pleasant surprise ,small gift, which I found in the room.Also thank you for invitation for the coctail in the hotel bar.As always there are everybody very attentive and friendly.Breakfast excellent and abundant.Well, sometimes, maybe in the morning the restaurant staff come and novto get enough sleep :), but they occur everywhere.This can be forgiven.Thank you very much again.In the future I will stay again there.

We stayed here for one night when in town for the Bert Jansch 'memorial' concert at the RFH, preferring to be south of the river mid-week. It is close enough to Waterloo and an easy walk to Covent Garden, etc.
The hotel is modern (fine with us) although we did not have time to use most of the facilities; the room was clean, albeit a little small. My only gripe is that the bed was rather uncomfortablenot helped by the polyester filled pillows & quilt.
All said, we will most likely go back in future.
