“Londons best kept secret....shhhhh”
Reviewed 22 May 2014

Just wanted to say we (family of 4) stayed at Kennington B&B and we had a fabulous time. Couldn't believe we were just a few doors down from Kennington tube station which was an ideal location just outside of the hustle and bustle but just a tube ride away from all the attractions. The hospitality was fabulous upon arrival and throughout our stay. We spent 4 nights there, the house was spotless and there was a great continental breakfast. The staff and owner were very welcoming and gave us lots of information on the tourist attractions ensuring we fulfilled our time in London. We will definitely be booking here again!! Thanks to Sian, her family and Olga for a great stay- All the best see you soon !! Londons best kept secret....shhhh!

Room Tip: We stayed in the family room -2 adjoining rooms both with a TV. Very comfortable and quiet. With ou...

Recently returned from a two night stay. Rooms are comfortable and spacious by London standards. High standard of cleanliness throughout. Easy access to public transportation as the Northern line tube station is steps away. The continental breakfast is simple but there are several choices of cereals, pastries, and breads. Sian is a gracious hostess and will readily assist with sightseeing questions. Wifi is a bit spotty on the upper floors. Quiet location was appreciated for a good night's rest. A bit difficult to find but worth it if you are looking for a reasonably priced, comfortable place with easy access to London's sights.

This is a lovely place, nice big rooms, very clean, very central with subway stop 50 meters away. Breakfast is simple but good. The owner, Sian, is very kind and helpful with suggestion about London. The bathrooms are very nice and clean (no carpets in the floors....). Very good beds, very quite.

Room Tip: The room at the top floor as a beautiful little balcony, but beds are better on the lower floor. Roo...

We enjoyed our stay and would return. The home owner and housekeeper were really nice accommodating people. My only problem was the bathroom was located down the hall from the bedrooms on the first floor. It was a hassle to get up in middle of the night and go down stairs to restroom...however, we managed. The rooms were clean and cozy. My room was facing the street in the front of the home, so we could hear noises from outside. The noise level was never a distraction from sleeping. You could also hear when anyone entered the home.

The house is perfectly located near the underground and bus stops, so getting around was never a problem. The breakfast consisted of pastries, fruit, cereal, yogurt, and juices. I think there was ham as well, but no eggs. I had no problem with the internet services at all. My bed wasn't the most comfortable, but one can manage. Overall, my stay was pleasant and I would recommend.

Room Tip: You may want to try the ensuite rooms.

Lovely historic building, interesting location, nice breakfast, relaxed and informal atmosphere and very friendly owner. Faultless B&B.
If you like a room with a view, try the top floor with a wonderful balcony.
Boris bikes are right outside too.

We stayed here this weekend for a family birthday and it was brilliant. The B&B was easy to find, literally on the doorstep of Kennington tube station. The house was beautifully decorated and very clean. We had two ground floor rooms which again were very well presented and spacious. Sian and her family were very welcoming and friendly and she contacted me by e-mail before we went and was very helpful. I had a couple of small requests as I have a poorly daughter and Sian fulfilled them all. She even had our rooms ready by 10.30am when we booked for a 2pm arrival. The buffet breakfast was lovely - lots of choice and all very fresh and tasty. When it is time to check out they are happy for you to leave your bags and collect them later. Great customer service!! Would definitely use this B&B again.

We stayed in this very clean and beautiful B & B for the new year celebrations recently for 3 nights. We had the top floor suite which was absolutely spotless and very private. This was our first time in London and found this to be a fantastic location very close to the tube station and within easy access to all attractions. On arrival Sian made us feel very welcome indeed and is a very lovely lady. The housekeeper is also very friendly and welcoming and made us feel very much at home. Breakfast is fabulous with so much choice. I cannot recommend this lovely B&B enough and we will be definitely visiting again in the summer. All in all Kennington B&B is an excellent place to stay if you are visiting London. Thank you so much for a lovely stay Sian.

Room Tip: Top floor family suite has excellent views of London.
