Visited with my parents unexpectedly after finding our original destination restaurant closed for the Summer recess. My father does not actually like Indian food and thankfully there were a few non-Indian options on the menu like Chicken and chips. That was a plus point for me certainly. Though I am not an expert in Indian cuisine, the rest of the food was fine and served fairly rapidly. The restaurant is tucked into a nondescript corner of a relatively calm neighbourhood but seemed to be quite popular since it was full to bursting on a weekday which was a good sign and I was impressed to see they also had people waiting outside to be seated as well as other clients popping in for a take-away meal. The only negative aspect is the slightly stuffy ambiance due to the narrowness of the single dining room. However, the bill was reasonable and generally, I would go again if I happened to be in the vicinity.
