“LOVED IT! A great base to explore London.”

Very clean. Usually I find a handful (at least) of faults, but I couldn't find any! The staff was so friendly and helpful. We'll be back here again next time we're in London.

This was the last hotel we were staying at on our honeymoon. It was the best of the four hotels we stayed at! My wife and I arrived a little early to the hotel. It was well before check in time. The girl at the front desk let us check in early. We ended up grabbing some lunch at the tasty restaurant next to the hotel. When we walked into our room we were totally blown away the decor. The four poster bed was insanely comfortable which was nice because we were exhausted after the flight and battling the tube trip. Little things like the ipod dock and free mini bar were also a nice touch. The bathroom was something else. The shower was great! I left some cloths in the closet of our room and I called the front desk. I had my cloths in my hands by the next week. Everything about this hotel was top notch and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I pray and hope that the service provided by this hotel never falls. I had actually arrived early at the hotel (about 9:30am) and they attempted to get me into a room as quickly as possible. Not many hotels would do that! The staff is extremely pleasant, efficient and most importantly helpful. The room was quite spacious with a super comfortable king size bed. Some mornings it was hard to leave because it was so comfortable.

The minibar that is provided free was an added bonus as it included still and sparkling water, candy and cereal bar. It was replenished every day that we were there and it was great to have ready access to drinking water. The staff was always available and it was just a pleasure staying at Hotel Indigo - Tower Hill.

Looking forward to staying there again.

Wow, we loved this place, we stayed there on New Years eve. The room was amazing, they are all individually styled apparently and our breath was taken away when we walked in and saw it. It was a huge room with a huge comfy bed and a lovely large bathroom.

The room looked out onto some offices but in central london your not going to get fantastic views really are you. All the walls were floor to ceiling windows with curtains which made it very private and cosy.

It was lovely and quiet and not far from the tube so very handy for central London.

Definately recommend !!

On a one week holiday to London, we wanted to try two different hotels in different parts of the city. We first stayed at Hilton London at Park Lane near the upscale Hyde Park area of town. For our second hotel, we chose Indigo at Tower Hill mostly because it offered some large rooms. It is remarkable how hard it was to find rooms with two double or queen sized beds in London or a King and a sofa bed. We needed two beds because we were traveling with our teenaged daughter but didn't want a room with only two twin sized beds.

Indigo offered a suite that seemed from the online description to suggest they included a sofa bed so we booked it. Not cheap but London is an expensive city. When we arrived, they said that our room was not ready but they would store the luggage. We went directly to the Tower of London, which is less than 10 minute walk from the hotel. Along the way, we passed many restaurants and coffee shops.

Upon our return, we were given keys to our room on the very top floor of the hotel (it is only 6 floors). Our room was named the Tower Bridge Suite because it has a little view of the Tower Bridge. Very cool! It also has a clear view of the Swiss Re building, commonly known as"The Gherkin" due to its pickle-like shape.

The suite itself is really fun. There is a a four poster bed on one side with hip wallpaper, closet, flat screen TV, safe, mini-fridge, coffee maker and espresso maker; it is connected by a short hallway to the other side of the suite, which had a long white leather, ultra modern style sofa, a mod armchair, a desk, another flat screen TV and a brick wall treatment. My teenager was in heaven having her own little "room" with the view of the Tower Bridge (we got bedding and she slept on the sofa). The bathroom also was ultra modern, with a new-fangled toilet (more stylish than functional), a shower with a cool showerhead and separate handheld attachment, towel warmer and Aveda products.

Indigo is trying awfully hard to be hip and cool and with this suite, mostly succeeds. Sort of like a less expensive, more carefree version of a W hotel. We also loved that sodas, still and sparkling water and snacks in the mini-fridge were free. I don't know of any hotel, other than a bed and breakfast type, that gives you free in-room snacks like that. I don't know if this comes with only the suites, with all the rooms or only because we were Ambassador Members of the ICHotel Group's frequent guest program.

Also, the front desk staff is probably the most attractive and friendly of any hotel I've stayed at. They really make a terrific first impression.

The hotel is a very short, 2-5 minute walk to Aldgate and Tower Hill Tube stations. It is also an easy walk to Tower of London and Tower Bridge. But ultimately, this is not an area of town that is filled with good restaurants or shops. There are places to eat but they did not seem worth trying. I did have breakfast one morning in the little restaurant that adjoins the lobby of the hotel. I ordered the English Breakfast which was big enough for two people and pretty good.

Room Tip: If it is in the budget, spring for a suite. Lots of room and great views.

Stayed at the Hotel Indgo on Tower Hill for 4 nights recently. The hotel is very clean and has been decorated in a modern style. The beds are really comfy and large, the bathroom facilities are spotless and the complimentary mini-bar is a nice little extra. The staff were great. They always spoke to us with a smile on there face and were happy to help at all times. We've stayed in quite a few hotels in Londonnand this is one of the best. You coul get something cheaper for around 100 pounds but for me this hotel is a steal for an extra 30 pounds a night you can relax in style and comfort rather than in some tiny little cold box room. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay again I heading to London again.

Free wifi and friendly attentive staff, its right in the middle of a great street with fab restaurants but very quiet. Love everything about this hotel and would recommend it to everyone
