“Very Spacious, modern and clean”

We took the train from the LHR to the closest metro station Aldgate (Circuit Line). As we walked down towards Minories where this hotel is at, its not apparent from the outside how gorgeous this hotel is inside. When we walked in staff was friendly, we had free wi-fi, breakfast was not included which is fine. When we walked inside our room, my eyes widened, because of the space and the decor, just lovely. Very comfortable king size bed, very room shower room. No bathtub (who needs one anyway).
There's a Thai place across the street, a subway across the street from Aldgate station. Right beside that is a bus station. So technically, very accessible.
The hotel does not have a gym, but they do give you free access to this Virgin Active gym which is a block from the hotel- which has a lap pool.
WI-FI was always good. All in all, a great hotel!

Room Tip: We were given the room with wheelchair access. There was no issue in terms of the sleeping area an...

Great comments, thank you. Our guests love Hotel Indigo London Tower Hill for it is unique in a number of ways; the rooms are large, bathed in light full of nice touches befitting to a genuine boutique hotel; the staff friendly, efficient and attentive. The whole story unfolds rather slowly and in a more humane scale. In short, a “must try” for those of you looking for something different, comfortable but more intimate in the heart of the City. We would love to see you back very soon.

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this hotel. Amazing stay at Hotel Indigo! Can't say enough great things about this hotel. Very nicely done- rooms with hardwood floors, very stylish & immaculate! Close to Tower Hill tube stop and attraction. Complimentary mini bar and wonderful service. Next time I return will absolutely stay here.

We stayed here 22nd June for my 30th birthday, my husband booked it all. As it was my birthday they upgraded us and put a cake and card in our room....so lovely. The staff were really helpful, welcoming yet professional and not overly intrusive. The hotel is in the financial area but it really didn't matter, accept if perhaps u wanted breakfast at one of the cafes, they are all shut Saturday & Sunday. We just bought some fruit the night before and there are plenty of complimentary drinks like fruit juices, coffee, tea etc in the room. We would definately recommend the thai restaurant a few doors down,so reasonable and gorgeous food. With this hotel just up the road from Tower Bridge and the tower of London its near places of interest too & a few minutes walk from the tube. Would definately stay here again.

I stayed here for a week and just like the first time, it was great. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms was just as good as the first time. Roomy and totally non "cookie cutter". You feel as if you are staying at a rich friends guest room. The furniture is nice, hip and funky but very comfortable. The bathroom is well appointed, and the internet and TV were perfect. I had some room service and the meals were good, relatively well priced, and served with a smile!

It is walking distance to Tower Gateway (DLR), Tower Hill and Algate (tube) stations. Starbucks and plenty of lunch places nearby.

I would stay again!

I'm sitting at home wishing I were back in to Hotel Indigo Tower Hill.

I booked this hotel for my boyfriends Birthday. We're London residence so we rarely stay in London hotels ... However on this occasion I want to do something special and the excellent reviews helped me pick the Indigo.

Originally the check-in time was going to be a problem as we were due to be somewhere at 3pm. A quick email to ask for an earlier check-in was promptly answered and we were told that our room would be ready and it wouldn't be a problem.

On arrival we were greeted with honest smiles and a warm welcome. We were given the stunning King Executive room and were told we had a complimentary late check out (2pm). We quickly settled in with our complimentary minibar (soft drinks, fruit juices, waters, chocolate etc) and loved the TV greeting 'Welcome to Indigo Mr & Miss *****, Please enjoy your stay.)

The room was large and cool, and tastefully decorated with an array of lamps and spot lights. The bed was stunning and so soft (best night sleep I've had in ages) and the large bathroom was a treat! The TV was a good size with a fantastic choice of channels, and the Nespresso machine quickly became my new best friends (plenty of teas/coffee too. No need to ask for refills.)

As we were getting ready for bed we noticed we had forgotten our toothpaste. A quick call to reception (at 11:45pm) had a toothpaste and toothbrush delivered to our room in minutes!

The next morning we had a delicious breakfast of Porridge and Eggs Florentine in the adjoining Square Mile Lounge and a complimentary newspaper. Our check-out was swift and friendly, and we were able to leave our bags with the reception team until we wanted to collect them later in the day.

All in all it was one of the most wonderful hotels we've had the pleasure of visiting (and we stay in approx. 8 hotels a year.) I can't wait to stay again! Exceptional!

Loved this hotel. The rooms are exceptional for the price. Best part? ...got to be the voice announcing the floors you are on in the lift. When it gets to the ground floor it's announced in a fantastic London accent 'graaaand floor'. Loved it.

I love this hotel, BUT unfortunately there is a serious consideration to make... Firstly the hotel... the rooms are very comfortable, modern and have every amenity you could wish for. The Food however is a very different story and in no way matches the quality of the hotel...

There is a restaurant attached called the Square Mile which supplies breakfast and dinner, although open to the public it's permanently empty! I stayed here last week and this week again for another 3 nights and have had consistently poor food and service quality (although the bar staff are really good!)... Two examples, myself and a colleague were two of a total of four people at breakfast and decided to order an omelette for speed and simplicity... 45 minutes later they were delivered... the saltiest food I've ever eaten and including every ingredient we asked NOT to have... breakfast staff couldn't care less and very unhelpful!

Secondly I then decided to have a bacon cheeseburger one evening... it arrived including salad which I asked to leave off, with no cheese and no bacon (although there are no plain burgers on the menu) and a bun I managed to SNAP in half!

The Verdict!....

Definitely stay here, the hotel is amazing value for money BUT make sure you remeber to grab breakfast on the go and eat out on an evening... there are plenty of local coffee shops and good restaurants on the same road! What a shame!

Room Tip: Rooms to the rear are better for noise, also 5th floor rooms have a balcony! Only difference betwee...

Thank you for your candid feedback. We are so pleased you have enjoyed overall both our special blend of hospitality and our accommodation offerings during your recent stay with us.
Your experiences with our food service are noted. Without wishing to offer excuses, our current restructuring in this area, has posed extra challenges. It is quite clear that we have failed on more than one occasion to meet our own usually very high standards of our F&B service and for this please accept my sincere apologies.
I would like to assure you that this unfortunate experience is a temporary “hiccup” and appropriate measures have been taken to prevent it’s repetition. We look forward to welcoming back with us on your next visit to London.
