“Another fab stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 April 2013 via mobile

Stayed Easter Eve for work. Very nicely upgraded to a Suite as a Platinum member - thank you for that! The staff are so welcoming and cheerful. The hotel very clean and the room was great (tho 'only' a double bed in the suite, rather than a king as in the other rooms - not a problem, as I was on my own for work). My one and only quibble (and this is general to many hotels) is that the curtains in the bedroom area didn't fully close / cover the windows. For a light sleeper and in a bright city this could be a problem. However, I've stayed here a few times and will definitely stay here again. I must also say that the chocolate Easter bunny was a really nice touch. Made me smile.

Dear Betty,

We’ll take note of your comments re: the curtains so that light sleepers like you get a good night’s rest. The staff appreciates your comments. It’s a pleasure to be of service.

We stayed for one night, as it was my husbands 30th birthday which I had mentioned when booking we were upgraded to a King Executive Suite which was a fantastic room, very well decorated, good size.

The little touch's were nice too: nespresso machine (although more cartridges would have been welcomed), complimentary soft drinks/snack mini bar.

Staff were very welcoming & efficient. The hotel is very close to tube station which was ideal for us to then go off and enjoy ourselves.

Dear SezF,

We’d love to have you again so you’ll know the special treatment we gave was not only because it was your husband’s birthday. We’d like to think we make it a habit for our clients to enjoy their stay as much as possible and we’re glad you did.

This was an amazing hotel. I loved the room so much! It was so nice and perfect size. The staff were so nice. We called to ask them to book a cab for us and they did it within seconds and told us that its ready when we are. A couple also asked for a cab after us and unfortunately grabbed our cab instead of waiting to get theirs. A member of the staff saw this and literally ran god knows where but came back within 10 minutes with a new cab just for us! How nice!!!! They made sure our stay was nice and were friendly. Already booked my next stay here!

The trip was, by my standards, a special occasion and the Hotel Indigo certainly did their bit to make sure it was.

The reception / check-in was efficient and the desk staff (Jackie and 'Trainee') were charming and welcoming. The room was delightful and the general ambience of the hotel first class.

Be it business or leisure, I'd welcome the Hotel Indigo, London to anyone.

Room Tip: Join the Priority Club Visa scheme. You will have a better chance of being upgraded.

Last year we stayed in a Indigo Hotel in Manchester and loved it, so when we decided to visit London we decided to stay once again with Indigo and we weren't disappointed. The hotel is close to the tube and Tower Bridge. Rooms were clean and amazing with staff very friendly and helpful when we needed directions on how to get to Harrords. We will be back.

We stayed at the Indigo for one night after a trip in northern England for a wedding. We wanted to see East London so we chose the Indigo. It's well placed to see the Tower of London (a block away) down Minories and to grab delicious Indian food on Brick Lane. St. Paul's Cathedral and the Millenium Bridge are a short 15-minute walk away.

I especially appreciated that the hotel offered complimentary wifi, newspapers and minibar beverages (mostly sodas and water). The room itself was spacious and luxurious, with a massive mural of St. Paul's on the wall, it felt like a one of a kind experience. The bed was the most comfortable I've slept in for some time, and the bathroom was clean and modern. Bonus: Aveda soaps, shampoo and conditioner!

We ordered the English breakfast in bed the next morning and it was not only divine, but half the price of the same breakfast service we paid for in another London hotel. I would highly recommend the Indigo for anyone looking to stay in the CIty or around East London.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with wall art! Room 305 is lovely.

We found the Indigo Hotel online and were really impressed! Close access to the tube and local attractions such as The Tower Bridge. Rooms were amazing and we were offered a room upgrade to a King Executive free of charge! Breakfast isn't too expensive and was really nice. Staff were very polite and accommodating. Would definitely recommend. Young couple.
