We stayed here for 4 nights in July. This was a great hotel. Clean, nicely decorated, convenient location, and friendly staff. The room was fairly small, but that seems to be normal in Europe. It was laid out in a user friendly manor. I do remember one thing that I would change and that was the shower. The glassed wall was only half way enclosed and water got all over the floor.

It is within walking distance to Tower of London and the Tower tube station. We felt safe in the neighborhood as well. We did get back to the hotel usually until 11:00 - 1:00 a.m. and never had an issue walking the streets. It was quiet on the weekend as it appeared to be in a business district.

There is a convenient store next door that we grabbed a quick bite for breakfast that was very reasonably priced and the food was not bad.

I would recommend this hotel.

Superb executive King size room - really spacious and well furnished.
Hotel is well located close to City of London.
The staff is very friendly.
Parking in the street over the week end is easy as plenty of space and charge is low (1 £ from sat 4 pm till monday 8 am !)
We highly recommend

Room Tip: Executive king size is the only one we've seen - terrific

We were looking for a good hotel of the beaten tourist track - and found this great hotel. It is a small hotel located at the edge of the City and close to the Tower of London. Rooms are perfect - well appointed and roomy enough. Service at the reception was excellent - very welcoming and attentive. We will certainly be back !

We enjoyed our stay at the Indigo, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the room comfortable and clean, the location very convenient - however: The bathroom, although wonderfully designed, was most uncomfortable. Hardly any space for toiletries, no towel rails for used towels for a second use, a highly slippery shower, nothing to hold on to, no bathmat to step on - again very dangerous to slip on the wet floor. In our room we were disturbed by footfalls from the neighbouring (!) rooms and from above that kept you awake for up to 2 hours in the middle of the night (once when a lady walked in high-heels next door for almost 3 hours). There should be more carpets on the floor. Should we go there again - a room on the top floor would be an option.

The staff at the reception was exceptional friendly and helpful. The location is good...near to the underground station and also just few steps to the London Tower and Tower Bridge. Many nice restaurants are in the St. Katharins Dock's...also just few steps away. The rooms are very clean, big and with interesting architecture. The service at breakfast was not really the highlight of the hotel...but all in all we can highly recommend the Hotel Indigo and one more "thank you" to the lovely staff there!

We stayed here for just one night of our recent two night stay in London. Will definitely make sure we stay more nights next time we are in London.
The hotel is bright, modern, fresh, clean and comfortable. All the staff we came across were professional, efficient, helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble.
We stayed BB (online) rate in a superior room. Great value for a London hotel. The room itself wasn't big, in fact the space around the bed was very limited but there was everything that could be needed and all very clean.
Breakfast is served in the small restaurant/lounge area. The cooked breakfast was cooked to order and was delicious! Plenty of other choices which looked fresh and appetising.
The hotel is located about 2 mins walk from Aldgate tube station, approx 5 mins walk to Aldgate East tube, 7 mins to the Thames/Tower of London/Tower Bridge/Tower Bridge tube (passing LDR station en route. It took us about 25 minutes to walk via Brick Lane to Shoreditch High Street and the hotel is close to the Gherkin/Lloyd's Building/Bank of England. A highly recommended hotel, one we will definitely return to.

Stayed here in August and loved it. Location is great. Hotel very modern. Price very reasonable for a city hotel but worth every penny spent. Check in was quick and staff very professional and friendly. Room was very clean and of good size. No complaints about breakfast. Had a great stay and would recommend it to friends & family - much better hotel then a Doubletree or a Radisson in a number of ways...book a room and find out for yourself - you won't be disappointed. Will be back next time Im in London.
