We stayed two nights and found the service and quality as being very good. Our room had a nice four poster bed and a well equipped bathroom. We didn't have breakfast, so we cannot comment on the food. We would recommend it.

We stayed 3 days at the Indigo London Tower Hill and it was quite a nice long weekend in London.

The hotel can be a bit tricky to find and there is not much in the direct vicinity (restaurant wise) but a short walk (10-15 min) you'll find a lot of choice.

The room was nice, modern and clean with a big four poster bed. The bathroom was a bit small but modern and clean.

We didn't have breakfast at the hotel so we can't comment on that.

Overall the hotel was good, even though wee found it a bit anonymous. The staff did their jobs, but that was about it. Having said all that we had a great time and the hotel is good value for money especially considering the overall room rates in London.

Dear Guest,
We’re glad to have been part of your nice long weekend in London. And you did point it out well: everything has its good as well as its bad side; but what matters is that generally you did have a great time and got good value for your money.

We booked this hotel for its position in relation to what we wanted to do and see in london. The hotel is only 2 minutes walk from aldgate tube station, and 3 or 4 minutes from the Tower of London .
The rooms and staff at the hotel were excellent , the staff were all very friendly, the rooms were very modern in there features, and you got free soft drinks and chocolates in the mini fridge.

Having experienced good service at the Newcastle Indigo, we decided to give this one a try for a 2 night stay. Again, all the staff were exceptionally cheerful and helpful, in particular Viktorija in the breakfast room .

We booked 2 superior rooms and one was upgraded on arrival. It was massive, with windows on 2 sides. We all appreciated the minibar stocked with juices, water, cereal bars and cans of fizz. Remarkably, this was replenished every day. The beds were somewhat unusual in design with a rather pointless column at each corner; they were, however, supremely comfortable which is what matters. The well-equipped bathroom could benefit from a larger shelf to place washing kit, also the towel rail/radiator was too small to accommodate all the large fluffy towels supplied.

We had breakfast in the hotel on both days. Unusually for IHG, hot dishes were prepared to order. The cold buffet was small but fresh and regularly replenished.

The Indigo is located about 100m from Aldgate tube station and the no 15 bus stop for Trafalgar Square is just across the street. At weekends and bank holidays, this area is pretty quiet and most of the restuarants close. Best option then would be to head towards the Tower of London. Another option might be the area around Spitalfield Market (10-15 min walk away) which has a wide range of restuarants and cafes, although we didnt check on weekend opening here.

We normally stay nearer the West End when visiting London, so this location was something of an experiment. Did we enjoy it? Yes, absolutely. Would we come again? Possibly.

To end on a quirky note; the lift announces the ground floor in ripe Cockney tones "Grahnd Floor". Nice touch.

Room Tip: .Windows are triple glazed so no disadvantage in street side rooms..

A very nice and chick hotel near Tower Bridge. The rooms are large and the decoration splendid. Just 200 meters from Minories, a beautiful pub, and five minutes walking to Aldgate where you could take the tube. A great election

We spent 4 nights in the Indigo hotel. We were a little surprised when the person at the reception couldn't find our reservation or our room. He did, in the end, and we ended up in what seemed to be the smallest room of the floor, with one tiny bed for 2... That's the charm of English hotel rooms, what do you expect !? The room was really clean, nothing to say about it. And we really enjoyed the free minibar which was refilled every day. Room service was very friendly too and the food was nice. We recommend the place if you want to be in Central London !
Beautiful marina nearby, with many little restaurants and eateries.
