We had a nice stay at this hotel - the staff are very friendly and the room was nice. Not a great view, but spacious.
The bed was very nice: large and firm, but not too hard.
The location is amazing -- we took the RV1 bus (it has its final stop Tower Hill down the street) all the way to Covent Garden and got a free tour! Past the Tower Bridge, London Eye, Globe Theatre, and Tate Modern.
Note that because the hotel is located in a business area, hardly any restaurants are open on the weekend.
We enjoyed the Aveda amenities and the free minibar (softdrinks and chocolate). The Nespresso machine was a nice touch but the coffee provided was not great.
One complaint: trying to use the washrooms in the basement is scary and difficult: it is a maze down there; lots of similar looking doors and absolutely no exit signs! Definitely a problem for people with fear of tight spaces or during an emergency since you can't get out. Leave breadcrumbs? Hopefully management can install a couple of exit signs.More
