It's the second time we went for dinner at Nagomi. It's a hidden little spot in the heart of London with a very simplistic interior. Both times we were surrounded by Japanese people...a good sign for the quality and the authenticity of the food... The fish was very fresh and the portions of the 'Sashimi' quite generous (compared to other sushi restaurants). The 'Nagomi Roll' was a real delight with its slightly crispy outside. We also loved the 'Mixed Seaweeds Salad' and the 'Salmon Teriyaki'. We paid approximately £60 for two (incl. service and a glass of wine each) which we thought was very acceptable looking at all the dishes we had eaten.

The staff was very friendly and helpful even though their English might not be the best.

Ate at this restaurant yesterday as two couples. First impressions good- cleanliness and decor in the restaurant good.

Staff were friendly but were very slow to respond to requests. Waited a very long time for more drinks and there was about a 10 minute delay with one of our main dishes. This is ok if you are sharing food, hence why I can understand why this would bother others. It was actually quite nice not to feel as if we were being rushed out!!

Food was really great, particularly the sushi rolls that we ordered. Recommend the salmon, asparagus and avocado one.

We each had sushi to start and either rice or ramen and a meat dish to share. The bill came to about £36 each. Green tea at these types of restaurants is usually refillable. Was slightly frustrating to find out that it wasn't.

Would recommend and return.

Only thing I would recommend to the restaurant is to sort their loos out!! The men's is out of order and the ladies was dated and could definitely do with a deep clean.

At least regarding among their foods we ordered, none was 'authentic', though people working were all genuinely Japanese. (My friends and I visited this restaurant WERE all Japanese, by the way.) They charge you double of a modest, 'authentic' and well-managed Japanese restaurant located in 3 tube stops away (i.e. very central and could-be-expensive one) for their MSG tasted, cheap&old rice-made, found-in-a-supermarket dressing scattered sushi, salad, noodles àla carte, etc., which all are served in super super small potion. What's worse. there's a girl whose attitude was unacceptably rude and impolite that ruined our Friday dinner. I'll never go back, so will my Japanese peers.

A quiet romantic refuge, this little restaurant charmed us right away. Have the mixed tempura and the iced plum wine and you will find the same heavenly experience that we did on a cold December afternoon. The service was warm and friendly and the food itself was melt in your mouth with tasty dipping sauces.

We had ramen at lunch time referring to some comments but the taste was below our expectation.
That was like as we cook at home using dry-noodles and powder of soup sold at supermarkets.
