Stayed for four nights - 1 with my niece and 3 with my husband ! Wonderful receptionist checked me in. Great location as tube on your doorstep as is Eurostar for Paris or Brussels. It is expensive but it really is truly five star! some hotels in London are five star but dont live up to it ! I was in the Barlow section which was lovely , comfortable rooms with lovely beds and linen. I could have upgraded into the Chamber section which is the VIP area , however for me I did not like the vibe ( I am one of those people!!!!) , very quiet and a bit spookie , if a little overwhelming, Truly beautifully , however just not for me .
Dined in both the Gilbert Scott (romantic for dinner and nice and peaceful for brunch) and Booking office (can be noisey, but has a good vibe and good music - but can be too loud at times) , food in both were truly excellent, staff are lovely , professional and friendly. Spa is lovely , however if in Barlow , you have to walk through hotel to get to spa, not ideal in a very busy hotel! Lovely pool and steam room. I look forward to return on my next trip to London.More
