“Great antiques market on Saturdays”
Reviewed 24 July 2014

This area is really fun on Saturdays, at the Portobello antique market/flea market/food fest. But go early! By late morning the crowd is so thick that you can hardly move, much less browse the stalls.

“Lovely”
Reviewed 19 July 2014

This neighborhood comes alive on weekends and on weekdays at night. There are plenty of shops and restaurants and people passing by. I enjoy walking along Portobello road and checking out the stores. If the weather is nice this makes for an excellent afternoon.

Nice place to live. Beautiful houses. Portobello road was a bit to busy. Probably due to the Saturday. Nice shops.

“Cosmopolitan Notting Hill captivated my visit with its unique charm”
Reviewed 10 July 2014

I was completely captivated when visiting Notting Hill......which is now one of my most desirable areas in London. Both charming and cosmopolitan... and you can find absolutely everything from world-famous events and eateries to cutting-edge galleries and theatres.
We did spend our Saturday morning browsing the extensive Portobello Market, the antique stalls were nearly a kilometre long and the market was bustling with people. The market offers an endless variety of merchandise and it was hard not to indulge ourselves into shopping vintage, leather, unique souvenirs and antiques.....
Notting Hill is also a fantastic place to find small, independent art galleries and some lovely home design shops.....
Highly recommended to visit and use as your base when visiting London.
