Went here on a Monday and the displays are great however there is a lack of crowd control. The more you progress through the exhibitions the more aggravated and rude the tourists become. Pushing and shoving to get to the displays and not a member of staff in sight to try to maintain some order.

Overall the displays and Marvel 4D experience was great however I would advise to book in advance and get there as early in the morning as possible to avoid the masses of tourists that lack any manners.

Absolute superb visit but the queuing system let it down. We have Merlin passes and at every other Merlin attraction it speeds entry up- not here. You have to queue with people who are collecting tickets and 45 minutes later we were finally inside. Official photos were reasonable - daughter loved 1D

As I read all the reviews I have to agree with many of them: the place is over crowded, just too many people for such a small place. However, after the long wait the museum is fun to visit, very unique compared to the regular types of museums where everything is historic or old.

Mandatory to visit if you have children between 5 and 18 years of age, they will love to see all the actors and actresses. It is like going into Hollywood without paying the meet and greet high fees. We have been here twice with my daughters, they loved the place and have many, many pictures with all their favorite stars. On our second visit, we noticed they added plenty of new figures from our first visit (4 years apart), which is very interesting to know.

I have to admit that the quality and resemblance of the figures is just magnificent, I just wish they would put the same effort into renovating the place, which is old and narrow on the corridors, etc.
Other than that, I highly recommend to anyone with kids or teenagers to visit this museum. I don't know if I would go by myself, maybe not.

Hi everyone, well, since my last visit and review here I made sure I took up some of the great tips of Trip Advisor reviewers!
We booked this attraction for the 3.30pm slot- far better timing as we only queued 15minutes to collect our pre-booked tickets and enter. Great timing especially for the middle of August and school holidays.
At this time most visitors are either half way round Madame Tussards or are leaving.
We managed to get around all the wax works pretty much without too much hassle although we had to be super quick jumping in for our turn for photos as there is no etiquette at all in the way of who was there first!
The only thing we didn't queue for was the One Direction wax works as my 13 year old daughter said she doesn't like these any more! I don't know, teenagers eh!

Tip: as above pre- book ( you can show your tickets via your smart phone, no need to print) and take some I.D too. Also try a bit later slot as there's plenty of time still to enjoy and the queues are less.

Back in the 80ies, mme Tussauds used to have lots more vax dolls than now, at least that is what i remember. It is fun taking a young kid there who has never seen celebrity dolls before, but as said, coming back here ever 20 year or so is actually enough... Buy your tickets vouchers online and show up just before opening time, we got inside in less than 20 seconds, otherwise it is quit infamous for long queueing times.
