We were originally planning to visit Camden Lock Market on a Saturday while visiting London. Since we were staying in East London, we opted to stay closer to the hotel and walk here. It is a decent market, mostly crafts, clothing, and accessories. As a married man with a wife and three daughters, there wasn't much to appeal to me. I expect that Camden Lock is larger and more varied. If you are in the mood for fish and chips, there is a small Poppies store inside the market, but there is also a larger sit-down Poppies just outside the market as well.

Plenty of stalls on a Sunday selling everything you could want & possibly not want. T-shirts, clothes through to bric-a-brac & jewellery. There are some really quirky stalls with some great items being sold - "God Shave the Queen" T-shirt made me laugh!!

The stalls are all surrounded by loads of eating places so you won't go hungry, we were on a tight timescale so only really had a quick look but you could easily spend a good couple of hours looking around, it's all inside so bonus on a rainy day.

Some stalls accept cards but it would be an idea to take cash along with you. Nearest station is Liverpool Street
