There is so much to see and take in you could easily spend days there and still not take it all in. I recommend doing the hour long tour it is very informative and helps you on your own adventure in the grounds.

We purchased our tickets at 4pm.When we came into the tower a guided tour was about to start so we decided to follow the guide. He was very funny with a lot of knowledge and we learned a lot. However we did not know-nor did anyone tell us- that the tower closes at 6pm.We did not get to experience the entire tower. They should let people know this since it is expensive to buy tickets.
All in all we would love to visit again.

This should be your first choice for things to do! We arrived at opening and did not have any problems with lines. The weather was excellent. There was a nice cafeteria and most everything seemed reasonably priced. One of the Beefeaters, Moira Cameron, took time to speak to us on a personal level which I really appreciated.

I would really reccomend this place! A must see, but make sure to come early since it closes around 6pm. We arrived at 4 pm and no one told us it was soon closing. We joined a tour that started just as we entered with one of the beefeaters, he was hillariously funny and very informative. Sadly, we only got around to seeing the magnificent crown jewels before they started to shut down section by section to our great dismay. Oh well... We'll be earlier next time.
