“A great British icon!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 August 2014

Despite being well into my fifties I had never done the Tower Bridge tour before. I was with a group of 20 who all did this tour together. After climbing the 206 stairs (lift u/s) we saw the film which wasn't quite as cheesy as I had feared...it presented the facts in an easily digested fashion for non-techies. For us techies there was plenty to admire in the Victorian structure revealed beneath the Portland Stone skin of the Towers. The walkways afforded spectacular views...Wembley Stadium one way, Crystal Palace TV mast the other. The sun was low in the sky and gave amazing views over HMS Belfast and towards The Shard. The restored but still steam engines were magnificent and, as we left, the bridge opened to let a cruise liner through! It was the icing on the cake of a most interesting experience.

“One of the iconic sights of London”

An iconic sight, along with Big Ben, which everyone associates with London. Didn't get to cross it, but did go under it twice on a river cruise. Very impressive sight.

“Cool views”

This attraction takes you up and over the Tower Bridge. It shows you how and why it was built and then down into the 'engine rooms' to show you how it works. It is very specific in its appeal. If you aren't into engineering/mechanical feats this may not be for you but it is well presented and the views as you walk across the high pedestrian bridge are stunning. It is all enclosed so it's not windy or cold or wet. It might be considered an alternative to the Eye since you are afforded lovely views of the city. We enjoyed it.

“What a view!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 August 2014

Fairly cheap (compared to other attractions) for the visit. We made the most of the tickets (and the military discount) and viewed not only up the bridge at the lovely views and building. But also underground into the engine rooms. Very interesting and informative visit.

“Lovely”

It is an awesome tower, every time I go there I get taken aback. Walking on this bridge at night time when there isn't much people was one of my favourite moments. I didn't pay for anything, just walked around the bridge and on it.
