Located on the Thames River with a marvellous view of Big Ben and the London Eye is this surprising finding. The aquarium has over 14 themed zones that really take you places. We were very fond of how each region was designed, from a lush leaf ceiling in the tropical themed area to white, icicle-clad finishings in the Antarctic area. Our 5 yr daughter fell in love with a penguin that followed her around the tank, while our 4 yr old son couldn’t help but being mesmerised by Nemo’s tank.

We visited the place with our 12 yo daughter. If it's your first visit to an attraction like this and if you have younger children you might enjoy it. However, if you already seen it in places such as Miami, San Diego, Berlin or Eilat - skip this one.

Plenty of sharks, and you could be lucky to be there for feeding time.
Very atmospheric, the kids enjoyed the different varieties.

We really enjoyed the exhibits but the entrance queuing was abysmal and could be expensive, thank heaven for 2 for 1's! Someone needs to carry out a serious review on how to improve the entrance. However, all the family did enjoy the experience. Also, it would be nice to see within the exhibit area somewhere to get a drink as it was quite warm inside and a hot day.

Have to say that this facility was not very clean. While the staff were friendly and informative, the place looked a bit run down. Not greatest value for the money but my son did love the penguins.
