EXTREMELY interesting. Captures the different aspects of daily life of all the past and not Civita. Interesting approach to the ancient works of art installations, not devoid of meaning as it happens in the tate modern. interesting section devoted to objects of everyday life of ancient Romans, the Parthenon Marbles, the Rosetta stone ..

Sightseeing in London can be expensive! The British Museum is free and has some of the must see relics in the world. The bathrooms were terrible.

Plan a full day here, there is so much to see and do. An incredible place. Don't miss the clock and money exhibits. So much to see that it's impossible to mention here but well worth the trip.

“A little bit of everything”
Reviewed 10 May 2012

A very detailed collection, taken (stolen) from around the world. What I looked at was from the "Cradle of Civilization", including the awesome Rosetta Stone. The most popular area is the Egyptian Mummy collection.

Possibly the "stolen" comment is unwarranted, as the items are protected from destruction by people in the countries where they were created.

Everyone visiting London should take in the museum.

“An excellent collection beautifully presented”
Reviewed 10 May 2012

This is the BEST Museum I've visited. We spent 3 hours here limited by our itinerary. We were able to see the highlights as proposed by their website and it thoroughly deserves a longer stay. The exhibits were well presented with descriptions that were easy to digest and just the right degree of detail. Layout was comfortable and not congested. Layout Map was good and easy to follow. And its free of entrance fees, and deserves the donation.
