“Viking special expo a real wow”
Reviewed 22 June 2014

Visited the Viking show just as it is closing.
Audio guide excellent; well worth the cost due to the interactive nature of the screens on the guide which allow you to see detail you cannot make out from the items in the cases.
Very crowded on a Saturday afternoon but the layout makes it possible to see everything if patient.
Longship obviously disappointing if you think you will see the boat intact but brilliant 'showing' via the special frame really gives you the idea of what you might see if you journey to the main exhibition.
All staff incredibly helpful and frindly.
TOP TIP: adults could take a child under 16 in for free so overall fantastic value, although the whole museum is free entry even if you do not wish to pay more for the special exhibs.

“A Walk in History”
Reviewed 22 June 2014

The British Museum is one of the best museum I've visited. If you are into Egyptian history, the British museum has one of the biggest collection of mummies outside of Egypt. They also have a huge collection of ancient Persian, Greek and Roman artifacts. The entrance fee is FOC for locals and tourists. Avoid school vacations as there will be lots of students around. Be prepared to spend a whole day there and take your time to explore the museum. The good thing is there is a nice cafe in the museum for lunch or tea breaks to rest your feet.

“Theft That Benefits Humanity”
Reviewed 22 June 2014

There are so many famous artifacts here that school children read about in their history books. The Rosetta stone (no, that is not just a language program), Cleopatra's mummy, Sphynx carvings, coins from 2,000 years ago, Amazon rain forest critters collected in the 19th century...it goes on and on.

I recommend losing the electronic leashes and getting lost in this beautiful indoor bazaar of antiquity.

“Super!”
Reviewed 21 June 2014 via mobile

Loved it!
Some fascinating exhibitions with so much to look at. Some parts very busy, but visted on a bank holiday so was expected.
Free admission but left a donation.

Will certainly visit again as there is so much we didn't see!!
