“very good”
Reviewed 27 June 2012

Very good my husband especially liked it and it was so thrilling walking around this marvellous building. The only thing we did not take into consideration was we did not allow ourselves enough time to walk around as we had booked a show so we did not see as much as we would have liked. We shall definitely go back again when visiting London.

“Wondrous things, confusing layout, lovely tea”
Reviewed 26 June 2012

The V&A is not my favorite museum in London. It's not the contents - you could wander for days seeing all the collections they have to offer. The problem is you could wander for days. I was told to come with a plan for what I wanted to see, and this was good advice, which I did not take!
The cafe has huge ornate rooms for taking meals and tea - that was the highlight of the visit to the museum for me.

“The Benugo Cafe is terrific for lunch or tea.”
Reviewed 26 June 2012

Well yes, the V&A is the best attic in the world, but now they have their very own Benugo Cafe (like the one at the British Museum). Great for lunch or tea, in those wonderful Victorian dining rooms -- complete with a pianist. The food was very varied, tasty and had something for all palates (including kids). And following on the health kick that London is on, very nice salads as well. But skip the big meringues -- they were soggy and not quite cooked in the middle.

“A surprise”
Reviewed 26 June 2012

I thought this museum would be boring but I was wrong. There is so much interest that anyone could easily lose 4 hours before realising how much time has passed.
