“worth two days”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 September 2012

The V&A is worth two days for a visit. The collection is so extensive and the museum itself is so large, that it is overwhelming to try to see it all in one day. The great thing is that there is free admission and there are also free guided tours hosted by docents. We found it the perfect place to spend a few rainy days.

“Always an inspiration”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 September 2012

The V&A is a lovely visit, you can go for 10 minutes or 3 hours depending on your schedule and stamina. It's free (they ask for a donation and it is a worthy cause) so when working in London I often pop in when I can. Their gift shop is fantastic too.

“Ball gown exhibition”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 September 2012

Love the v&a. Went to the ball gown exhibition which was a bit disappointing. £10 each and quite a small show - we actually enjoyed the fashion section around the exhibition more. If you are going look out for the network rail 2for1 deals.

“See the Heatherwick exhibition!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 September 2012

A great free museum for the core exhibits and they always have some side exhibits too for a few pounds - Thomas Heatherwick is very interesting although the exhibition room is rather small, could have been laid out in more space.
Ball gowns on too

“A bit of everything”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 September 2012

New shows and ecclectic collection. Can be full of locals on friday and the weekend. Two good cafeterias and climates allows it is nice to dine in the court. Many museums around and near the beautiful Kensington neighbourhood.
