Beautiful museum. A great mix of modern and history. Best part was brunch in the gorgeous dining room.

There is something for everyone at this huge museum. I stuck to the performance, jewelry and special exhibitions, but really there are so many things to see. Cafe seemed nice as well!

This museum is really great. We saw all three special exhibits and enjoyed the wedding dresses and the Italian fashion exhibit the most. There are several nice gift shops and the cafe has very good food. It's impossible to see this whole museum in one day, but we enjoyed what we did see.

Eat in the period room. Such a good choice of food at reasonable prices. A bit of problem getting to top rooms, some lifts seem dysfunctional!

For the international traveler going to V&A might not be on the top of your list as it is in Chelsea a suburb a little way out of the city center and unless you are willing to pay astronomical prices for your accommodations you will most certainly be staying elsewhere. Though its distance from the main hub of attractions should not diminish a travelers’ desire to see some amazing pieces. For example if you are a lover of Asian art this is a must as it ranks as the fourth largest collection in the world and number one outside of Asia (though the Korean section is tiny). The pieces in the other collections are marvelous and it is a must if you are into sculptures.
My suggestion would be see Westminster and Buckingham palace go to Hyde park for a lovely picnic (weather permitting) and capping it off with a lovely afternoon surrounded by artistic beauty.
