“Interesting place”
Reviewed 24 August 2014

This is not a large museum, based on a private collection. There are a lot of good pictures is not the most famous artists of XVIII-XIX centuries. Porcelain.
Cozy and friendly atmosphere.

A house furnished in the best royal taste of furniture, pictures and porcelainby what has been salvaged from destruction from the French Revolution of 1789.The house oozes luxury and glamour. The arms collection keeps young and old entertained for hours. The setting of the restaurant is great even when the food quality and service can improve.

“Fantastic collection”
Reviewed 23 August 2014

This is a real gem worth seeing. These collectors bought everything imaginable and you will definitely find something of interest. It is housed in a wonderful large home and one can easily imagine the fun they had buying and displaying everything on every single inch of this facility. It's just amazing.

“Amazing collection of beautiful art, furniture and paintings”
Reviewed 22 August 2014

The Wallace collection is a gem just north of Oxford street. A beautiful house crammed full of the most delightful and sumptuous art, furniture and paintings. It is well worth a visit and indeed would take several visits to take in all that is on show. It has a lovely cafe in an atrium in side the building. Highly recommended oh and it is free!

“Hidden gem”
Reviewed 20 August 2014

Some outstanding works of art here - popped in and was amazed to find works by Canaletto, Titian, Rembrandt. So this is where to find the 'Laughing Cavalier' and 'The swing'. Fabulous collection of snuffboxes. Definitely worth 2 hours in this quiet part of London - yet close to the shops/ restaurants for the rest of a day in London.
