“Interesting Collection”
Reviewed 4 September 2014

This house (behind Selfridges) contains an interesting collection - why not have six long case clocks and five massive marble topped side tables - just ot fill up the room and create symmetry!

There are some nice miniatures and some recognizable master. The rooms are a bit maze like. Interesting to listen to other visitors and groups comment on the collection.

There is a nice tea room on the lower floor and the bathrooms are just about the nicest I have encountered in a museum facility - basically a private room.

It is free admission.

“Avoid The Weekend if Possible”
Reviewed 3 September 2014

The nearest tube station is Bond Street. Head west down Oxford Street, turn right at Selfridge´s and you´ll find the Collection on the north side of Manchester Square. As "la Wallace" is the no. 1 London attraction in the French Guide Michelin, the French weekend invasion begins on Friday evening, so mid-week viewing is strongly recommended.

“Hidden Gem”
Reviewed 3 September 2014

This collection is tucked away in Marylebone behind the main street and was such a pleasant surprise. The collection itself is quite extensive, and if you like porcelain they have the worlds largest display of Sevres outside of France. The collection assigned a very knowledgable woman who took us around (free of charge) and it gave life to the works that otherwise would go unnoticed. I would recommend a visit to the Wallace Collection, as well as the shops and cafes in the Marlybone area on a Saturday afternoon.

“One of London's Special Places”

I love this collection every time I visit it and particularly enjoy taking one of the free tours that are led daily by experience and interesting Volunteer guides. I always learn something new and exciting. The restaurant is excellent. Ensure you book a table ahead.
