It's a nice place to visit, but nothing to shout about. You have to pay one pound to hire a hanger for your jacket...:( It's a great place, however, if it's raining outside and you're looking for some kind of shelter! :D (and it's close to St.Paul's Cathedral!)

A great display of the history of London from the beginning of time to the present day. I have learned a great deal of our heritage from my visits here.

This Museum is really great. It is spacious and well laid out. I particularly like the way that it guides you through the development of the capital, from London before it was London right up to the present day. The museum has relics and items from the bronze age through the Romans, the Saxons and everything from then till now. I would recommend it not only to tourists but also to Londoners, you will be amazed at how much you didn't know about your home town.Another great feature is that the Museum is free.

Personnally when I go to a mueseum, I am not very interested to see archeological items. I want to feel the atmosphere of the era.

In the museum, there's a part named Victorian Walk. You feel like you are walking in a small, dark London street in the 1900's and it was quiet cool.

Also in the museum shop you can find interesting gifts.

This museum is great, it gives you the rough history of London (the wall, tower of London and the big fire). It is free and has activities for children as well, just make sure you do not go there during school holidays, it is extremely busy.
