Excellent polite attentive staff. The hotel well located for the West End Shows. Bus routes just minutes away. Oxford street round the corner. Tottenham Court Road max 10 minute walk away. Stayed room only which had everything necessary for a stay in London, was clean and well decorated. Would stay again at this hotel. Due to our plans we did not eat at the Hotel however there were some good offers for dining before 7pm, the Restaurant looked beautiful and there were plenty of diners.

Room Tip: I suspect some of the rooms can be a little noisy with traffic but the road itself is off Oxford Str...

Overall good, clean, as expected. Rooms are small but cosy. Bathroom was big. No parking was annoying as I stayed there for 2 nights, I was unaware bloomsbury square car park offered discount to guests. So first night I park at shaftsbury ncp. And it cost £36 overnight. Bloomsbery cost £21 overnight.
Room service was wide variety and nice I had Irish stew. Overall I would stay again but I thought the rooms are better size at holiday inn kings cross or travelodge drury lane.

The bedroom was very spacious with a an excellent bed but being on the first floor and next to the very busy main road suffered from terrible noise from the traffic which did not ease until about 3.30am (Saturday morning). In addition we could hear music, police sirens and people on the street despite the double glazing. This was a great shame as otherwise it is a very nice hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the back and on a high floor

Stayed for 1 night at the end of January. I spent ages looking for the right hotel, when I saw this for £82 for a double room I snapped it up. What a bargain, the hotel didn't disappoint.
I arrived 1 hour before check in but my room was ready. I asked for a quiet room and was given one towards the back of the hotel. The room was lovely, modern decor, but there's no mini bar or fridge, drinks can be ordered from room service for £5 tray charge.
Bathroom was bright and clean, again really modern with a great rainfall shower. Toiletries supplied, I requested a bathrobe from reception which was brought to my room within 5 minutes.
Breakfast was good. I bought a breakfast voucher on check in for £10, if u buy on the morning its £16.95. I paid £5 tray charge to have it brought to my room. The pastries and croissants were lovely, but my toast and scrambled eggs were cold.
The location is great, just few minutes walk from Holborn tube, which is just 2 stops from Kings Cross. The west end and Oxford street are within walking distance.
Overall I found the staff to be friendly and helpful and would definitely stay again.

An old building, sensitively upgraded to a high standard. Whoever the young man was that suggested our upgraded room 'A belated thank you'. The room was on a high floor with a corner window overlooking the street and church next door. However even without that upgrade, from the photos I've seen I think one would be happy with the room offered. The interior design is full of style and clever use of space. The bathroom continues this theme, although not big on space it was big on style. We think that this is a real find in a convenient position for walking to Convent Garden etc.
It has taken a while for me to get around to writing this review, I think because I don't want to find the hotel fully booked when next I want to book, but that is just selfish! The only minus would be the lack of system in the dining room, but hopefully that has since been addressed and all is running smoothly now.

Room Tip: Perhaps the higher rooms are less affected by the traffic noise if you are to be at the front of the...

I spent 2 nights at The Kingsley and enjoyed a comfortable stay and will certainly consider this hotel again.
The hotel is well located between Tottenham Court Road and Holborn underground stations and within walking distance of the West end attractions.
The room was large by London standards and it seemed to have been recently renovated. Two easy chairs and a work desk made it possible to relax in the room and the comfortable bed with pillow 'menu' helped to make sleep easy. As with many London hotels there is noise from outside but this was minimal during my stay.
The internet connection is BT Openzone and this was fast and simple to access.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor with a wondow facing away from the main road.
