Every single member of staff we encountered from reception, concierge, Landau restaurant, porter, chambermaid and management all made our stay a real pleasure with their genuine cheery disposition, kindness and willingness to help.
There is already much written about the property and facilities, so simply wanted to comment on how well the team represent The Langham and themselves.

I have stayed in The Langham, London for my honeymoon for 9 days from late Apr to May. First of all, the location is extremely convenient where is only 5-min walk from Oxford Circus Underground station. If you want to do some retail therapy, you can do at anytime you want because the shopping area of Oxford Street and Regent Street is just around the corner. You can also travel to most of the attractions within 30 mins in the City. If you want to travel in the suburb, there are quite a few railway station which you can access within 20 mins.

Staff here is absolutely attentive. They are nice and with a very good service attitude. Moreover, they are very responsive to customers' request. I remembered I have tried to email them for certain help when I am doing travel outside the city, they reply to my email within an hour. That really impressed me.

In the Club, the staff is really wonderful, cheerful and with very good service attitude. They can always mentioned our names every time they greeted us.

Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable.

Will definitely stay in The Langham again during our next visit to London.

Room Tip: Good to stay in Club Room although you need to spend a little more, but it is money worth.

we stayed here over xmas this year, xmas eve ,xmas day and boxing day, beautiful and friendly staff, very helpful. Bar is a bit pricey, wine list is ridiculous,we were drinking a certain wine which cost £33 I bought it at home for £6.50. I know 5 star hotels are expensive but..?. Didn't eat here either as xmas day the price was nearly £600 for two ! Come on ,we found a very good steak house which did xmas fare for £40 each in "Knightsbridge" ! Rooms were very good, breakfast in buffet room was good.Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel in every way, but beware prices.

We have recently stayed at Langham properties in Melbourne and Sydney and so we chose Langham after considering numerous properties in London (Intercon, Four Seasons, JW Marriott, Red Carnation properties). The key factors for this choice were (i) location - very close to Oxford Circus; (ii) breakfast - other hotels did not show whether they served breakfast in the morning; and (iii) indoor pool - we were travelling with our 7 year old son for whom a pool is a good diversion.

The hotel room itself (Room 406) was not great. We were assigned a room that faced into an empty yard and London being London, the room were small. Our double bed room was so compact that we found ourselves having to tidy up our room constantly so that we could walk around our beds. The refrigerator in the room was also one of those types where if you lift a beverage you get charged. Hotel mini-bars are generally on the decline, and I would hope Langham will pick up on this trend and allow the fridges to be used for guest convenience, rather than an effort to try to sell 2 pound cans of diet coke.

Other than the average quality of the room, all other aspects of our 6-night stay were wonderful. We were met by someone when we got out of the taxi with our sleeping son - the hotel representative had the sense to take us immediately to our rooms so we can lay our son down and do the check in procedures in our room. This flexibility was incredibly well-appreciated.

We also LOVED the entire concierge staff who befriended our son and gave us amazing recommendations for three dinners in a row to the perfect restaurants. I seriously would consider coming back to this hotel on the ability of its concierge staff alone.

The meals in the morning at the two lobby restaurants were great. The quality of the food was high, although we would have liked to have seen a bit more variation in the buffet - it gets a bit challenging after 5-6 days.

The pool facilities were OK. Having specific hours when kids can come into the pool is a good compromise. The pool has an interesting shape - it is decently long but very narrow, allowing for only 3-4 swimming lanes. I am sure the adults who swim there for exercise do not like it when kids are there, but given the tight space it would appear this cannot be helped.

It is relatively rare that the quality of the staff and people at an establishment can transcend the physical limitations of a property to make the hotel an amazing place. The Langham London is that rare exception and it made my 5-day respite with family in London a pleasure. Thank you Langham London!

Room Tip: The odd numbered rooms face out toward the street.

We like to frequent the Artisan bar whenever we come to Town for an evening and always have a fantastic time with sublime cocktails. We decided to spend Christmas here following our past experiences and can honestly say it was one of the most perfect Christmas's we've spent together.
We're not made of money so passed on dinner in the Landaux and instead dined at The Palm Court. The staff were delightful and friendly (even though working on Christmas Day). The Pianist played some beautiful Christmas melodies and we were soon moved seats and placed right next to him so we could enjoy the experience even more.
The food was first class and the wine was exceptional.
Our room was very large with the softest and most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. We ordered room service Christmas night and enjoyed with a glass of bubbly while watching 'love actually' as is apt at Christmas!
The Spa was also an added bonus. I had an hour long massage (I think it was their speciality one) which left me feeling like I was floating. I slept like a log that night!

Our breakfast in the Landaux was also a terrific experience; the staff were very personable and attentive, the food was delicious and plentiful and the ambience was just right.

We can't wait to stay again!

I attended a conference at the Langham. The venue was exceptionally good for both the conference and residential. Top notch service from reception to checking out. I cannot reflect on anyone specific as all services were exceptionally professional and well done. Well Done!

Loved The Langham. We stayed up on the club level and it was worth every penny. Great breakfast, awesome afternoon tea, and always champagne available. The hotel is wonderful as soon as you walk in the door, as they even take care of making sure it smells wonderful as soon as you enter.
We stayed in a King room, and the room was a decent size and the bed was very comfortable. Linens were lovely.
The location of the hotel is fantastic. The bar is lovely. Stay here. You will not regret it.
