The first room they gave us was next to the elevator, so we asked for an alternate -- we probably should have stuck with the first one since the elevator wasn't really noticeable at all, and there were at least a lot of windows. The alternate they offered us was a floor lower, and further down the air-shaft, with an odd layout that resulted in the room being pretty dark. And the air conditioning wasn't stellar, nor did the windows open (in the first room the A/C was also weak, but at least the windows could open). In the end everything was fine, and the oddities of the layout did grow on us. The staff was very polite and helpful. Great location right across from Hyde Park and walking distance to Paddington Station.
