Slept like a baby, super comfortable rooms with every amenity you could wish for, the shower is like a Spa with the biggest shower head I have ever seen and the hottest water you could get.

The breakfast was quite simply the best I have ever eaten, cooked to perfection

The showerheads are definitely a feature and our guests just love them. As for the hot water, you'd never guess, this is partly heated for free by a system that cleverly collects and reuses the rejected heat from our kitchen refrigeration units! We hope to welcome you back again very soon.

What can you say about a hotel that is a five minute walk from Trafalgar Square and the City of London, overlooks the Thames, has a "full service" bathroom and where you only need your room number to find where you will sleep? Loverly(sic), but it missed the mark for me.
The location, just off The Strand was perfect.
Check-in was simple, personal, plesant and efficient.
The room was posh, nicely decorated but euro-small. The foyer was a three way connector, connecting the sleeping room, the bath and the external corridor. Lovely mahagony cabinets with mirrors, including a curve corner unit. More than adequate storage but the wardrobe had a full length shoe rack making storing suitcases more difficult than with a flat floor - the rack supported the suitcases and saves the fine wood floor. Amenities included robes and slippers, the robes were fine but the slippers were too small "for one size fits all". Bed was comfy. The clock in the room was decorative, the flat panel TV not in a cabinet was out of place.
The bath had a shower, separate tub, a single sink, commode, bidet and heated towel rack. To get everything into the room there was not an inch of spare space, good thing there was only a single sink because occupnay by more than one was dangerous and unlawful. The shower was the same size as a low cost cabin on a cruise ship.....very nicely done, but not much room for even a moderately sized person (6', 200 pounds). Eliminate the bidet, or the separate tub and the bathroom becomes much more functional for concurrent usage. The towels were large enough although I expected thicker and more luxurious, but the heated towel rack was a nice touch.
For someone who values appearance more than function this hotel is perfect.

My husband booked a superior room for a one night stay, with dinner in the Savoy Grill, for our anniversary treat. From the moment we arrived I felt like I had died and gone to heaven! The opulent surroundings and general air of calm (even though the area was very busy) gave a wonderful first impression and the professionalism and general friendliness of the staff made you feel welcome immediately. Check in was a pleasurable experience and we were escorted by the friendly receptionist to our room. The room was all that you would expect from a hotel of this calibre; luxurious, light and airy. We decided to spend some time in the Health and Fitness area and thoroughly enjoyed a refreshing swim in the pool followed by a lazy sauna and steam. Later we again experienced service that can only be described as second to none, when we enjoyed a delicious meal in the Savoy Grill. The staff were attentive and polite and when we told them it was our anniversary they brought out a cake and decorated plate which added the perfect touch.
Overall I cannot praise this establishment enough, it is everything that you would expect and more. The whole experience was made magical for us and the staff appear rightly proud of working in such a fine hotel. I cannot wait to visit again!

Just come back from staying at Savoy Hotel in London, it was absolutely excellent from the moment you walked in to the hotel until the time we left. It was my husbands birthday and my anniversary and they really took this into account. They upgraded our room, left us a birthday cake and an anniversary cake and personal note in our room. The service all round was excellent, I could of not choose a better location and a better Hotel. Amazing Experience, well worth the money.

Room Tip: Try to get the Riverside rooms, amazing!

Brilliantly renovated. I stayed on a corporate rate which usually means a west End hotel room the size of a cupboard but here the room was a good size and really well thought out. The place just oozes style and quality. The staff were (with one exception, more latter) extremely efficient and helpful. I wanted to leave a bag at the hotel for two weeks ahead of the stay and emailed to check that'd be OK (some London hotels are a bit picky about left luggage). They returned the email and said no problem, but what really impressed me was when I dropped the bag off the guys at the door knew all about the request. I also gave them a suit for dry cleaning and it was hanging up in the room whan I arrived too.

If youve not been to London then I can advise this is a great location for tourists being a stones throw from Covent Garden and Trafalgar Sq and all the major theatres. Great transport links on your doorstep too. I've stayed at most of the major London hotels and for me this is the best yet (I'd put The Ritz number 2 fyi).

I didnt eat there but the restaurants certainly looked the part.

Only negative the guy who met me at reception was totally incompetent (wrong room, wrong paper, no wake up call etc). Think he was some kind of trainee but he wouldve been out of his depth at MacDonalds. But the rest of the staff we're so good things didnt get out of hand.

Room Tip: I can only guess that the River views must be stunning, but unless youre very lucky be prepared to p...

In quiet art deco style the Amercian Bar at the Savoy welcomed us with elegantly dressed waiting staff and soft well intoned voiced singer playing the grand piano. The lighting in the evening is such that it is hard to tell the well known from folk like us - a couple from the North simply wanting to enjoy the sense of a time gone by atmosphere - for a price. The cocktails were wonderful, a Brandy Crusta and a Dry Vermouth Manhattan, along with nibbles that were replenished even before they had been finished. The price was just over £32 but as something to do once or twice it was a delight. The last time I was there, Stephen Fry could be seen tweeting in a darker corner. The small Savoy museum area is to the left as you walk into the bar and has a selection of memorabilia including room booking cards and signed photos.
