“The Climax? of a Weeend Trip.”
Reviewed 8 May 2014

To round off our Theatre weekend we visited Petticoat Lane Market. My wife was intrigued @ the number of leatherworkers
shops open Crowded (Needed to watch for pickpockets) & one needed to see that what was demonstrated was what was in the box you bought. Altogether an interesting & entertaining couple of hours.

Ist hard to find, only sell clothes and not very cheap, uninteresting. the food is varied but can be found elsewhere in the city for the best price.

“Pop By If You're Near...”
Reviewed 11 April 2014

I've never been to Petticoat Lane in it's "Hayday" and it certainly isn't the best market in London. When we went the most notable sights were a pretty mural at the start of the lane, a mountain made of handbags and some baby toys which span so fast which we were afraid to touch as it might have worn your hand away.
But go and have a look if you're nearby, even if it os only to catch a glimpse of safety hazard baby toys...

“Nice way to spend Sunday morning”
Reviewed 21 March 2014

We stayed in a hotel at Battersea London overnight and we decided to have a look around Petticoat Lane Market on a Sunday in March.

We were very lucky the weather was amazing very sunny we hade a great day out lots to see and do some very good bargains in the market.

Lots of small cafés and restaurants for a nice meal or a coffee.

Highly recommended for a day out on Sunday's. Difficult to park a car use public transport.

Only one thing to be aware of - watch your bags, jewellery, etc a few pick pockets around.

“Not tempted to buy!”
Reviewed 3 March 2014 via mobile

Visited to kill some time before the Capital One Cup Final. Was interesting - but no real quality. Some cheap clothes that seemed to be from high street shops - but would not want to buy any of these. Wouldn't go again.
