The Draycott Hotel was an extra special surprise during my recent stay in London. It was not the type of hotel I would typically choose as it is pretty small (boutique) and traditional in style but I stayed there as I was meeting with some colleagues - and I am SO GLAD I did!!

This hotel is charm personified from the time you step through the door and the staff are really what makes a stay at the Draycott special.

It is a charming, quirky collection of 3 townhouses all converted to 1 hotel, so has the feeling of staying in a rather fabulous home. As I said, 2 of my colleagues also stayed there - 1 had an attic room, 1 had a basement room and I was on the 3rd floor - all of us were delighted with the accommodation - so they are consistent!! lol

They truly cannot do enough for their guests. Room service is a pleasure - quick, and efficient with fast delivery (no waiting 45 mins) - and flexible! The team and I ate in the drawing room on one occasion for a change of scenery!

The gardens are beautiful (London treated us to a sunny few days) and we drank a few glasses of the complimentary champagne in the evening (served between 6 & 7) in the garden, which felt like a scene straight from the movie Notting Hill - a fabulous way to wind down from a hard days work!

And the location is just brilliant - 1 minute away from Kings Road and Sloane Square hidden away in a quiet street so there is no outside street noise!

I truly cannot recommend the Draycott highly enough! I shall be returning with my husband for a romantic break next time!!

I stayed at The Draycott Hotel London last week when seeing a show.

A very comfortable small hotel in a great location, slightly old fashioned but in a nice cosy way and the staff were very friendly and attentive staff.

Thank you

Fred

Little to add to what others have already said - this was a wonderful base, as a single female traveller. Room was small but perfectly formed, with everything I needed. I loved the tea in the afternoon and hot chocolate before bed. The staff were exceptionally friendly and I look forward to a return stay.

Traveling solo, and yes, the room was very small - but a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Great place to recover from the crowds and frenetic pace of London. Located off Sloane Square next to a church primary school, with a large garden in the back. Amazingly quiet. The staff are superb. Small but well equipped room with a good sized bathroom. Even had a converter for US electrical plugs. WiFi worked very well. I was sorry to leave and am already looking forward to a return trip!

We picked this spot as we were in England for a few days right before Christmas. The Draycott was perfect. Our room was full of antiques and had direct access to a neighborhood garden. The hotel is right near Sloane Square so we were in walking distance to local restaurants, high-end shops (from tiffany & co. to a lovely market/deli) and the tube. We were a bit concerned about staying outside of Knightsbridge but we loved this Chelsea neighborhood. The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. We will return.

We had a wonderful stay at the Draycott. Our room opened onto a private neighborhood garden and the room had a lovely fireplace and sitting area. The bed was very comfortable with excellent high and linens.

The hotel is right near Sloane Square which is full of restaurants and various high end retail such as Tiffanys and Co. It was very easy to get around London from the hotel.

The hotel was the perfect spot to enjoy English hospitality for the holidays. The hotel offered many personal touches including afternoon tea and various little surprises came to the room for the holidays. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We will definitely return to the Draycott.
