This small boutique hotel is an a very good location. Close to Harrod's, tube stops, plenty of restaurants, etc. Due to small number of rooms, service is a bit more personal. The rooms are small, but adequate. Good beds, nice roomy bathroom, and good wifi. The free coffee, tea, and bar is very welcome. It is nice to be able to have a free coffee or beer when one considers the costs of every other hotel in London. The lounge / reception area is a bit small, but comfy and of course you can always just retire to your room. Added plus is complimentary room service of coffee or tea. One downside is the size and speed of the only elevator, but this is easily overlooked given the other positives of this property. Works fine for business or couples but might be a bit small for a family.

Room Tip: Lower floors are easier for day to day access. Handicap access would be very difficult, I imagine.

I was rather disappointed in this hotel. The junior suite was not as in the pictures and not as large as at other comparable hotels, with a minute balcony filled by an air-conditioning unit. The afternoon tea in the room was nice. There is a free bar for residents but we did not feel particularly comfortable in the lounge as it is also the reception area and we felt that we were being watched. The location is excellent and the building is lovely in a quiet road.

You couldn't possibly find a better location for a hotel if you want to do some shopping in London. Around the corner is Harrod's, and, for my teenage daughter, Zara and Top Shop. Staff at the hotel were exceptional! Our room (the junior suite for the three of us) was perfect. Can't wait to return!

This is a beautiful boutique hotel with very, very competent & friendly staff in one of the best locations in all of London. The rooms are nicely appointed and well designed, the reception/lobby area is a nice place to sit and have a drink or two or enjoy the wonderful afternoon tea the hotel offers (their scones & clotted cream are to die for!!!). Definitely worth every single pound!!

Room Tip: As with many if not most London hotels (and houses in general), room sizes vary and tend towards the small end. Keep that in mind when you choose your room!

My parents were in London for the weekend so I wanted to book them in a hotel that was strategically located without them having to navigate the tube or buses. After reading through dozens of reviews on tripadvisor, I finally narrowed it down to Beaufort Hotel in Knightsbridge and I can’t imagine a better choice for them- or for anyone else for that matter!

First of all, the location is just fantastic. It’s just a skip away from Harrods and Sloane Street where all the cool shops are located, yet it’s a super quiet hotel as it’s on a quiet street that’s just a corner away from the usual city hustle and bustle!

The hotel staff was excellent, very welcoming, very helpful, very friendly and super accommodating! Every staff they came in contact with, from the bellhop to the reception to chambermaids were all helpful, friendly and pleasant! My parents felt very welcomed indeed.
Besides the great staff, the hotel has some nice touches for its guests. Hotel guests can have any much complimentary hot or cold drinks (soda, sparkling or still water) served to them at the lobby, the lounge at the basement or at their room, at any time of the day. In the afternoons until 11pm, there is even an open bar at the lobby or the lounge at the basement where guests can pour themselves or be served some wine, sparkling wine or even some stiffer drinks. In the afternoons, when guests come back to the hotel for a break, guests can request for tea and fresh scones to be served at their room (my parents really enjoyed the freshly baked scones with clotted cream)!! Breakfast is not included in the room rates, but guests who wish to have breakfast at the hotel can have whatever they wish sent to their rooms. They can either place their breakfast orders the night before or if they don’t mind waiting, they can place it on the morning of. It’s all very flexible.

WIFI reception is good throughout the hotel, from the lobby, to the room, to the lounge in the basement. And one afternoon, when we had some friends who live in London come over for a visit with my parents at the hotel, the staff generously sent tea and scones down to the lounge for everyone. My parents were very appreciative of this.

This is definitely a hotel we will stay at again!! We will highly recommend it to friends and family visiting London as well.
