A lovely boutique hotel with an excellent location just around the corner from Harrods.
The Beaufort is two town houses made into a hotel so our room was a little on the small size but it did help having a spacious bathroom with a large window on a split level. There was no noise from outside to disturb your sleep and the bed was comfortable with lovely bedding and pillows.
I do think they should offer tea/coffee making facilities in the room as we missed it on our 3 night stay. We did try, on our second morning, the free service of tea/coffee being brought to our room but it never arrived! The reception staff were mortified and very apologetic as they had been very busy that morning but if rooms had a kettle it would be easier for guests and staff especially with the lift/stair situation and during busy periods like our visit was.
The free bar in reception is a lovely touch and we did sample a free glass or two each evening whilst waiting for our taxi but we were too busy to sample the free afternoon cream tea.
We were on the third floor and in the other half of the hotel where the lift didn't stop! We mostly used the stairs but it was a pain when dressed to go out for the evening for us ladies to descend all those stairs in heels! The tiny lift only allows 2 people or one person plus luggage and we could only use it from the 2nd or 4th floor in our part of the building!
It is a clean hotel with lovely helpful staff and a brilliant location but I have now realised I like the anonymity of large hotels with large lifts.
Sorry Beaufort you are a lovely quant hotel just not for me x

We stayed at the Beaufort to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary as we had spent the first night of our honeymoon there. It absolutely lived up to our happy memories , the staff were charming and the room was really nice.
The free drinks and soft drinks are as nice as ever and now they have free wifi as well.

Why would you want to stay anywhere else ?

I love the serenity of Beaufort Gardens, the quiet cul-de-sac in Knightsbridge where where this hotel is located. Brompton Street, where you'll find the Tube Station, buses and shopping is just steps from the front door of the hotel, but you'd never believe it. The tree-lined street is always quiet. I stayed at The Beaufort many years ago, and was not disappointed this visit. I would happily return, if my plans take me to London again.

The front desk staff is friendly and efficient. The lobby is a pleasant place to enjoy afternoon Cream Tea, or complimentary wine in the evening. Our room was not huge, but it had a spacious feeling. The decor was elegant, with very nice tile work in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable!

My only complaint was the the Wi-Fi was not working when we arrived. This was obviously not the hotel's fault, and they did get it repaired the following day, but it did hamper some of our ability to check on our client's needs.

Room Tip: We had one of the few rooms with a balcony. While the weather didn't support spending much time...

Just back from a two night stay at the Beaufort. The location was great, just round from Harrods with lots of cafes and shops nearby. Our room in the hotel was nice, on the small side but I guess that's many London hotels. The lift was really tiny, 2 people or 1 plus luggage. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay here again. The only small disappointment was that breakfast was not included in the rate, and I think it would have been a tray service. However, we had a lovely breakfast out so not a problem.

Location, location...you save a lot of money in cabs and can walk back to the hotel with your shopping bags. STrange design as several townhouses connected, so only 1 room on each floor, so elevator is tiny tiny. So don't bring a huge heavy suitcase!
Very generous with free bar until 23.00, free tea and scones in the afternoon, breakfast delivered on a tray to your room - not a great one but OK.
To be London OK price/Value.

Stayed here for three nights and it was a pleasure to do so.

Check in staff were extremly friendly and welcoming - and the very attractive blonde lady made the experience even more pleasant ! :-) The staff are mainly Polish and Bulgarian, but speak excellent English and nothing was a problem.

As per the other reviews, this hotel is in a very quiet location, just near Brompton Rd - but there is no traffic noise at all. Complimentary drinks from 3pm, free wi-fi, free tea and scones along with 24 hr tea and coffee, makes the Beaufort a very nice alternative to bigger hotels.

It's a 20 min cab ride to the theatre area depending on traffic and of course, if money is no object, Harrod's is just around the corner ! The rooms are not big, but that's London - and really, you're only there to sleep and the beds are comfortable. Nice big bathrooms with all accessories.

All in all a very pleasant stay and highly recommended.
