A great hotel in a great quiet location.
The staff is very good, a little nervous but very good.
The restaurant should not be missed if you like Thai.

This trip was a surprise birthday present from my boyfriend. We arrived at the hotel (such a quiet street for such a central area of London) where the gentleman on reception told me that i had been upgraded to a suite and that complimentary champagne and strawberries was on its way. At this point i think i nearly fell over! The suite was incredible; crisp, spacious and the most comfortable bed. Orded room service in the evening - Chicken Caeser Salad is a MUST! The hotel is situated in a perfect location; we could walk absolutely everywhere that we needed to... even to Big Ben and Back! We also had a drink in the bar in the evening which was very relaxing after a busy day of shopping and walking.
Overall; a birthday i'll never forget. A-MAZ-ING

My husband and myself stayed at the Halkin for three nights in August 2010 because of the smashing reveues from other Trip Advisor customers.
We usually stay at Radisson hotels, but thought we would give the Halkin a try, even though it is a lot more expensive than any Radisson in London.
The reception staff were lovely, and made us feel comfrotable right from the start, our room was not ready so we were shown to the bar, and asked if we would like a complimentry tea or coffee, which we had, served in lovely china cups, and nice and hot.
Twenty minutes later we were shown our room, we had paid extra for a Superior room, and this one was on the top floor facing the garden.
The room was huge, with a massive bed, three large windows which we opened wide at night and unusual for London, we didn't hear any noise of traffic, in fact it was quieter than our own bedroom in Yorkshire which is a small village in the countryside!!
That was a big plus for us, as we are light sleepers and to go to bed in London and sleep like a baby was wonderful.
The bed was very comfortable, as were the lovely soft pillows, the bedlinen fresh and good quality.
The bathroom was also very large, with the deepest bath we have ever seen, it was great to lay in there after a long day shopping and walking around.
The breakfast was super, with a very good selection of things to eat, and everything was hot and the crockery spotless. The waiters were attentive and very kind, we only had to ask and we got what we wanter immediately, so 'well done' to the chef and the super waiters .
When ever we went out, or returned to the hotel, everyone had a beaming smile and addressed us personally by name, which I thought was very nice, they were genuinely interested in our days out, and if we had enjoyed the shows we had seen.
All in all a wonderful, quiet, discrete and enjoyable hotel.
There was just one small thing that I would like to point out. There were no tea and coffee making items in the bedroom, which was the only let down for us, as we like a drink as soon as we are up and about, and would have been nice when we came in at night before bed.
We did point this out when we paid our bill, and the reception pointed out that if we had asked they would have obliged with these items straight away, but we felt we should not have to ask, they should have been in place when we arrived.
This was the only grumble we had, so not bad really. But every hotel in London we have ever stayed at has had these facilities already in the room.
It is quite an expensive hotel, but if you like pampering and everything pretty much perfect. Then the Halkin is for you.
We will be returning on one of our many trips to London, and hopefully there may be coffee and tea in the rooms when we return next time.!

Me and my husband decided to celebrate at The Halkin our 3rd wedding anniversary. It was definitely worth it. We have stayed in other luxurious hotels in London but this was definitely a unique treat. The sensation of exclusivity that this small property gives you is just amazing. The staff recognizes you from beginning to end. Loved the people, loved our superb Thai dinner at the Michelin star restaurat Nahm and loved the mix atmosphere of design, elegance and spontaneous excellence service. It all made our celebration really special. I definitely recommend anyone to experience this superb treat.

Spent a night here just before we flew to tenerife on holiday. The Thai restaurant was the main attraction and we weren't disappointed..Exceptional

Hotel itself i think we were slightly disappointed with....for no other reason the price we paid.We stayed at the dorchester for less and although i'd not go there again either you at least felt like you saw where your money is going.

Our room was upgraded.....good job....i'd have been annoyed with anything less.Every conceivable extra but large iron burn on carpet seemed out of place.

We arrived 5PM friday and left saturday morning and ate at the restaurant.....£504.

Knew the prices when we went but just feel a bit shortchanged.

Travelled here on the 29.08.2010, for the bank holiday weekend.
Although pricey the hotel is worth EVERY penny.
From the moment we arrived 2 hours early from check in to the moment we checked out and more everything was truely fabulous!
Rooms have eveyrthing you need and more! Bathroom is gorgeous, Bed is so comfy, pillows very comfy, tv/ipod docks very satisfactory.
Shower and bathing water always hot.
Complimentary coffee brought to our room on arrival, fabulous!!
Nahm restaurant again pricey but worth every last penny spent there. Cocktails are beautiful, along with the champagne cocktails!
Staff always polite and attended to our every need.

London is a beautiful city, both in and around the hustle and bustle to the quiet boutique shops!...
Definately going to visit this hotel again!
Not one bad word to say.
